Southern Aridzona - Hell's doorstep.
Hayden - 70 laps.
I don't know if that's good or bad. In the past, he's been prone to go out and plod around for hours, all the while running 1+ second off his PB. I don't quite understand what that's supposed to do.
I'm hoping for a typical last-minute banzai run. C'mon, top 5!

You seem to forget that I'm one of those open for victory I just refused commit before I saw what speed he would get up to. With today's laptimes he more or less confirmed that he is a fantastic talent that we still haven't seen the full potential of and confirms Lex's wet dreams.
He is not only the fastest rookie but look out the take Pedrosa's spot and it this continue he is not up for one surprise win but could become a championship contender.

In the interview Stoner says he had done 34laps on his fastest-lap-tire.

other than the defending engine noises, who ever watched the race on motogp.com was probably more satisfied. hanged out at the ONLY main grandstand. Had no idea what the lap timings were since the timings are only listed in the VIP village lobby. My 6 mega pixel sony camera did a crappy job and capturing the racers on a straight was close to impossible. I might get beaten up if I post the pics. Rossi and Stoner were two mad hatters who were on the bike for a long period of time. I can see Spies came second
explains why Rossi was on his bike for as long as he was.
All in all I'm a little bummed that the only seating available is on the start finish line
. Hope watching the race live in 3 weeks will be much more exciting when more than one bike will be flying across the start/finish line.

Winning hearts is far more crucial and important than winning races
. Legends win hearts, great racers win races. Spies will no doubt be a legend in a few years. He def won my heart a while back. He's going to be the Randy Couture of MotoGP

Got another cannon camera which cost 4 times more than this piece of crap. Never used it. If i figure out how to use it by tomorrow I'll def go back out for a few hours. I feel bad as it is that I didn't come back with decent pics today. Sorry for the let down guys.

Just experience
We knew he was a fantastic talent already. First year WSBK title proves that, but very few continue that upward curve all the way up to alien level. That's why I was skeptical.
