They both threw their bikes down the road trying to stop MM clinching the title in the race when he did so. If he had been riding to beat Rossi he could have taken the points in that race, Rossi crashed first iirc. Guys like Lorenzo and Rossi don't ride for 2nd and 3rd place in the title, and I think he had more race wins than Rossi that year.

As you know .... Im always right .... so this must be how it is.

On present form Lorenzo will play second fiddle to Marquez in wins .... hence in the WC. However, Lorenzo could surprise. And if he does we may see a level of pressure that Marc has never had ..... he could be beaten by Lorenzos platstation ghostrider style. We'll have to wait and see.

So they will be Honda 1 and 2. Hence they have pushed all chance of Dovi getting close again. And Yamaha have no chance because rossi sucks ...... hiring Lorenzo has pretty much set the 2019 title to Honda, barring some incredible catastrophe ...... we shall have to wait and see.

Guys please please please please please just stop! This is the best motogp forum out there, I’m sure you guys know this. I understand some of you know each other personally and there is some animosity and disputes but please can you just let it go? It’s not like one committed a crime against the other. Please you’re all knowledgeable and I love reading some of the posts that are very insightful but your fights are just getting out of hand. Every other forum I’m a member of I’ve met memebers in person and became friends with them. Isn’t that the whole purpose?! You’ve been talking to each other for more than a decade, that’s admirable ..... just let it go......please

JLo will be not be used as shark bait. He is too valuable a resource to throw away like that. What is the current Honda’s major weakness? It don’t work on soft tires. It’s hard hard hard a total hard on for hard tires for Honda.

At present, who is Honda’s major competition? Surprise surprise it ain’t Yamaha for once it’s actually Ducati. What’s Ducati’s major advantage? It’s not being limp no ser ye but they are soft. No not the engine the tires. How does the most powerful engine on the grid get by with choosing the softer tires? Good question.

Marquez doesn’t know the answer, ditto Crashslow. Pedro was once a force to be reckoned with, the equal of Stoner really in being extremely light weight yet somehow being able to heat up the tires with ultra aggressive riding. But after all those injuries Pedro has become gun shy and is often found down the back of the grid.

Then there is Lorenzo. He has a preference for the soft tire. He knows Yamaha and Ducati. Hell if, and it’s s big if, Honda can cure that Achilles heel of theirs and come up with a competitive bike on soft tires?

Honda ain’t always typical Honda. 2015 was typical Honda. An almost unrideable screamer bike even for one Mr Marquez. Yet at times Honda are less arrogant and more proactive then their reputation suggests. In this case I detect a proactive Honda. Marquez said the Yamaha appears to have significant advantages back in 2015. Honda have set about nullifying those those advantages. Big Bang engine. Much more stable frame. Decent electronics. Able to use the soft tire? Game over. Over to you Mr Lorenzo.

The most powerful engine on the grid gets away with soft tyres by cooking the custom EMU.
That will be gonerino next year.
