Its all moot, Honda got what they are looking for. It appears Ezy has folded and Marquez will be on the Repsol Honda to start 2013

ezy more or less confirms what i suggested will happen if marquez does not get the repsol seat : own satellite team.
whether its the rookie rule they bend or the agreement that each factory team needs to put 2 bikes on the grid,it was always going to come down to this. neither gresini nor lcr will burn castrol or elf to have marquez spend his crashfest rookie season on their bikes

So what rules are hard and fast and which are "flexible"? Maybe Ducati should put a few extra litres of fuel in as surley that rule is only a guideline?
Ezy is a ....... moron, remember when he kicked out WCM only for a short time later to say motogp is not prototype racing. There appears to be corruption going on here for sure.

sure there is. also i thought everybody understood that some teams are more equal than others.
you don't piss off the remaining manufacturers,if either honda,yamaha or ducati left, the championship would be dead .i bet if the series lost 1 japanese manufacturer,the other would follow soon and what then?ducati vs crts? also , if ducati quit (and i'm sure somethings done to keep them onboard) its at best honda vs. yamaha and a bunch of superbikes from teams no one ever heard of. don't get me wrong , i'm not criticizing crt here. but that doesn't sound like a sexy championship,does it ?

What a load o ...... As is tightly said, only Repsol HRC will be able to afford to keep him in bikes in his first year.
Not surprised though.
I really liked Marquez until recently, but have really gone off him since the Willarot incident, and so far this season, he seems to genuinely not give a .... about other riders on the track.
Hopefully he doesnae get the title this year, and becomes the next Pedrosa, with more chance of winning the WBA heavyweight title than the motogp title.

Well according to the article Honda, yamaha and ducati are against the rule being changed.
I think ezy is missing the point here.
Lots of riders have had factory bikes on satellite teams, gibbers, super-sic, melandri ect. He misses the point because its a sat team getting a factory bike which narrows the gap making it fairer, not whether a rider gets a fast bike. This just goes to show ezy has no idea how or why these rules are in place.

What is the point in having any rules or regs in place if they are subject to change!
How the .... is a team supposed to know where it stands when they keep changing things just to suit one rider?

Im starting to see Stoners point and respect him for it. There was/is obviously lots of .... going on behind the scenes besides the lame ... reasons he gave in an interview.

I sort of agreed with his reasons about the lower class not been in the paddock, these teams really don't have the money to stay in hotels etc.
But now the bigger picture is becoming clearer.
I don't blame him for leaving at all.
Respect him for it too.
Repsol own dorna and control this spanish championship. They probably bought stoner off and told ezy to do as he is ....... well told.
