repsol honda to only have one rider next season (pedro) which makes the second factory bike available for another team (marquez)
the only reason why i think hrc must field to 2 factory bikes is because of their contract with repsol. easy way to solve the rookie rule problem and have repsol colors on two bikes : new satellite team for marquez sponsored by catalunya caixa and repsol.

Krop are you just throwing it out there?..but man a Hayden fan can dream! I'm pretty sure Honda cut Yamaha off at the feet when it appeared Nicky was ready for the World stage many moons ago, and Honda was right to do so since they won the WC with Nick in 2006. I don't seriously see why Yamaha would persue Nick now though, unless it's to sell bikes in the US...Nick seems to have improved sales of Ducati's in the US though???
I still think it will be Dovi or Crutch if Spies doensn't start pulling it out the latter half of the season.

And yes HRC are contracted two field to bikes in the Repsol team plus honor their lease agreed bikes .

1 hrc repsol honda bike + 1 satellite team full factory bike with repsol fairings so that repsol won't cry that there not represented enough. i don't know how to make it more clear
if they did that there would be the same situation as of now, 1 bike left for lcr, 1 for gresini

You can spin it how ever you like mate but it still boils down to one thing. 2 FACTORY REPSOL BIKES plus 2 Gresini where one could be a factory bike but not in repsol colours. This could be for marquez. If you think anything else your smoking too much weed.

how can you not get that theres the off chance that the repsol honda team only fields one bike next season and give stoners current bike (figuratively) to a new team (that's also being sponsored by repsol). no reason why repsol can't be the main sponsor for two teams,as long as they're officially not a single entitiy and not share the same garage. that would be an easy way to have 4 rc213vs and not piss of one of the satellite teams.
btw, no weed or else i'd not give a .... and let you figure it out yourself after someone with better english skills told you

I'm pretty sure they have too unless they plead poverty to dorna like Kawasaki and suzuki. I doubt that will wash if they tried it as honda also lease several bikes.
None of them, those bikes are fugly every other 1000 looks so much better and in the US a bike has to look good.

i guess we'll see. with a lot of new rules and regulations coming in the next few years theres a lot going on, i wouldn't bet against honda getting a deal in turn for them giving the green light on some technical aspects in 2014

Pedrosa must be happy, at least for another year while Bradl becomes his teammate.
pedrosa has one more year to come up with the goods or be forced out Criville style i reckon.

So Jorge has taken the easy way-not surprising, however if Honda can sort their issues and Stoner/Pedders start whipping him again he may rue this early choice.........
This leaves Honda with a quandary of sorts, if they keep Pedders and bring in Bradl or Alvaro then 2013 is already a write off-Jorge will smash them again and they will be battling with satellite Yams, maybe even a Ducati if Rossi stays there-Marquez-forget it-Rookie rule and also a huge gamble-probably a new sat team for him. Honda has one choice if they want to put big pressure on Jorge and that's an old employee......how much they want to win next season will be shown in the next month or so........the re-signing of Rossi to the factory squad has I'm sure now been brought to the fore of discussions at HRC.
And the heat is now on Bolonga, I have no doubt that the meeting rooms are quite busy there at present! Rossi also has a quandary, Ducati have not provided the bike he's asked for-have taken forever to update and their quick patches and huge dollars spent have amounted to nothing except when it rains. So far they have proved that they are willing to change.......but they have not proved they can provide what is necessary. His pride may keep him there, but the thought of yet another season in 7th place may be too much to bear.........
And what do Yamaha do with the other spot? Do they make a play for Rossi? Jorge recently said he wouldn't mind the return of the doctor, or do they promote Dovi/Cal-demote Spies-send him to WSBK with a revised factory effort. If the choice was between Cal/Dovi or Rossi-the glory days of utter dominance 08-09-10 would be easily regained with the latter, not too mention a big sponsor, even the return of Fiat? And the monstrous PR mileage of returning Rossi to the front and taking him into retirement with the potential of another title.......A solid move bringing Dovi up-but no chance of a title with him Dovi would be Jorge eternal bridesmaid, and Cal is a big unknown........
could be a very interesting couple of months......
