yep his timing is unreal, he does seem to jump on a bike at "exactly the right time"

I thought he crashed in section 3 since that is where the timing left him, and everyone else went into to pits with a minute left...

It could be a few different things but the most likely answer is he was between his pit and someone elses to go yell at them for being in his way. How dare they, he has valuable data to collect.

Quips aside JKD, his crash came on the soft, and the soft tires have been non-existent at the races or useless.
Should be a reminder to everyone that Michelin made the hard tire the only choice by design because there's one current rider who loves hard carcass tires. Total ....... sham.

If he was on the soft tyre and crashed at the end of the session, suggests he was pushing. He got beat by his factory brothers and this was his race. Not good.
As for the tyres, the softs are a waste of time, a token gesture. I hope he comes out and says so then the dictatorship might change.

Word is; Ducati is pissed at HRC for getting the winglets banned. So since they Ducati is the host of the test, they did not invite HRC. They may end up with egg on their face. Jorge has stated that the Ducatis are fast at this track but rear tire longevity is a problem for them.
