British driving great Sir Stirling Moss has been awarded the FIA Gold Medal in recognition of his outstanding contribution to motorsport.
The FIA motorsport's governing body handed the award to Moss in Monaco.
Moss finished runner up in Formula 1's driver championship 4 times and enjoyed major success in variety of other racing categories.
"This is the first time I have won a FIA award - it means a lot to me and I am very proud to receive it" said Moss.
