Rossi will have to have the yamaha and his head very well sorted for LeMans if he's going to have any chance at all. Considering the problems that he's complaining about, LeMans will accentuate them all. Hard downhill braking, accelerating out of slow corners two of which involve hard acceleration AND direction change at the same time. There's only one real fast turn at LeMans, the decreasing radius approach to turn 1 and you're on the brakes half way through that...chatter city!
I predict a field day for the Hondas. Yamaha and Ducati are going to struggle. The Kawasaki and Suzuki boys are in with a chance of mixing it a bit in the top ten depending on how the 'stones last the distance.
1. Melandri
2. Hayden
3. Stoner/Pedrosa
If it rains who knows?
