Le mans-predictions 2011

Just curious then. Why every time without fail when you post a race prediction do you have The Doctor in first and 'Stacey Moaner' (which was mildly amusing perhaps four years ago) as a DNF. On this occasion could you explain why you feel that this might be the result - I'm genuinely interested

+1

this guys an ....., he even tried to insult me because i like kart racing
<

Yes you are. Another Aussie ....... How dare anyone be negative towards Stoner eh? After all, no one here is negative about Rossi are they, and his "Bopper?" followers.
<

Point me to a single intelligent, coherent or useful post that you have ever made on this forum and I will take it all back.

I am just so sick of reading childish crap from posters like yourself polluting forums elsewhere. If I want to read gibberish like you post I will go over to Crash.net or MCN forums.

Have a nice day

i'm just wondering whether pedrosa is back to full fitness and if so, is he as fast as stoner?

whenever the honda boys show a little weakness there is always lorenzo to take the win. i thought his stats posted in another thread tell quite a story. lorenzo without doubt was the best rider in the last 12 months so you must not get tempted to just focus on the honda guys when it comes to winning. the same always goes for rossi too, the only surprise concerning him would be if he doesn't win this year at all

i hope it doesnt rain again. i don't mind the occasional wet race drama but i'd very much welcome a dry race, just to get a better impression of the current balance of power so to speak

Yep, these are predictions, not wish lists . We can start a thread for every race that lets them wish what would happen. Im pretty sure i know what it would look like.

Lorenzo DNF

Pedro DNF

Stoner DNF

Rossi win

I put them in that order since that is the chain of events that will have to take place for the latter to happen.

Well it's a prediction thread..not a final results thread....so lets see what I can come up with.

Dry:

1. Lorenzo

2. Stoner

3. Rossi

Wet:

1. Rossi

2. Dovi

3. ...ah .... it Hayden

As mentioned earlier Pedrosa's shoulder might still be sore? With the nature of LeMans I think Dani struggles towards the latter part of the race and just misses out on a podium....but I must say the little dude impressed the hell out of me at Jerez so.....?????

Ooooh we do get uptight when anyone has a pop at Mr Stoner now dont we? But its fine to slate the Rossi "Boppers" in virtualy every thread? Maybe you should visit crash.net ?

Im sure you can work it out for yourself? You see what reaction the "Stacey Moaner DNF" prediction gets. Its not all about having a cheap pop at Rossi fans is it? The Aussies (and the other 2 Stoner fans) dont seem to be able to take it on the chin as easy. Ive never made as serious prediction here as there is no point. Ive nothing against Stoner, his skill on the bike speaks for itself, but he is his own worst enemy when it comes to pr. Like in any sport, there will be fan rivalry, Moto gp is no different. Some people just seem to take things personally?

Rossi will easily win here. Rain, for sure, shine notwithstanding. New parts and machine improvement, but most importantly, the shoulder is healthy once again. Which means, Rossi is now Rossi. He will ride around minor problems using superior talent, skill, and racing tactics, etc.

Fighting for podiums will be the usual 2nd tier suspects.

<
Doooosh!!

Points for the effort though!!

lorenzo and pedrosa fight for the win, stoner, rossi, simoncelli and spies battle for the last step of the podium

Totally agree....maybe Lorenzo has a small advantage considering his many victories at this track. Le Mans is very well suited for Yamaha and for Lorenzo's style too, so he has the most chances to victory, if the weather stays dry. If it rains, only faith knows

This track has special needs

I don't believe I alluded to the fact you did in anyway say anything derogatory about "Stacey Moaner" in your previous post other than the childish and completely unoriginal name calling you pass off as humour - I was just being succinct in my abuse towards you as it requires some effort to pen an articulate rebuttal to such inane comments and I am perhaps somewhat lazy in this regard and simply could not be arsed on this particular occasion....however I will now make an effort just for you.

My reason for this abuse is simple - I am basically bored shitless with the ridiculous ad nauseum predictions you constantly make which have no basis in reality. These so called predictions of yours are in fact just a personal wish list spawned by your own bias rather than any kind of well informed commentary and serve no other purpose than to be inflammatory. If as you say "Stoners skill on the bike speaks for itself" then explain why you always list him as DNF'ing out of every race and have Rossi winning every single race - doesn't sound like a well balanced opinion to me or any sort of humour I personally find entertaining.

I also find it interesting you raise the issue of nationality as I am of the opinion that racism of any kind is a refuge for the weak of mind. I believe most of the Aussie fans on here are pretty objective and actually contribute in a very positive way to this forum.....Rising Sun, Gaz, Frizzle and Michaelm to name but a few have over time shown wit and humour and are quite willing to engage in a little good natured banter, but more importantly they have also displayed a thorough understanding of the intricacies of bike racing when commenting on this most courageous and exciting of sports.

Of course there are exceptions to every rule and I am sure I could name a few fellow Australians on this forum who I would not wish to represent me on behalf of my country as is the case with individuals of every nation on earth. If I was to judge all Italians based on my impression of Benito Mussolini I probably wouldn't have traveled to Italy a few years back and would be far poorer for it as I found the experience to be truly enriching and the people themselves were amongst the most generous, hospitable and passionate individuals you would ever want to meet.....it doesn't mean I have to like all Italians though.....shall I judge all Brits on Carl Fogarty perhaps or all Americans on Jeffrey Dahmer?

I also don't believe Casey Stoner is immune from criticism...far from it - but I also think he has been dealt a raw deal by the lunatic fringe and he has often had the media betray his trust usually for the purpose of their own vested interests. I think he has only ever wanted to compete on a level playing field and to have his own talents recognised but unfortunately this hasn't always been the case. Due to this he has often reacted negatively without thinking of the consequences thus perpetuating this vicious cycle. I could list a few times where I genuinely didn't appreciate some of his antics but I do admire the way he always give his honest untainted opinion....I wish far more people were as liberal with the truth.

And as far as "boppers" go, you are the archetypal poster boy for bopperism at its ugliest and most abhorrent. I don't believe you represent what I deem to be a true fan of the sport - instead I would include you with the multitude of glory hunters caught up in the cult of celebrity - a collection of individuals who exhibit severe psychosis and become deeply disturbed and hence lash out at those deemed responsible for their heroes failings - nothing more.

Take that on the chin

Got bored after reading the first line of that drivvle. Jesus dude, its called banter, stop getting emotional. You and Casey would get on i reckon, maybe you should hook up and go fishing?

Ah yes, PR... The it factor which separates the men from the boys. Who could forget Mick Doohan's miraculous public appearance in 1992 after that awful leg incident in Assen. That "attribute" hasn't been relevant since... hmmm... well, this is awkward. A good lesson in PR hasn't been important since Valentino Rossi. Odd you point to his PR record. Odd, indeed.
