LAGUNA SECA GP 2013: RACE (Spoilers)

Interesting to note is how easily Marquez outdrives Rossi up the hill out of the previous corner. Almost as easily as he could out-accelerate all the pretenders in Moto2 when he started from the back of the grid. That RCV must have one bloody good Lamda Sensor...

Rossi practically parked the bike in turn 6, kind of like how all the Moto2 riders Marquez triumphed against parked their bikes in the turns instead of getting on the gas hard like Marquez does.

Well of course the argument is that he was only able to get ahead by not slowing down enough for the corner.

Counter argument, he slowed down enough for the corner and Rossi forced him off the track instead of yielding the position.

Met with, well isn't that Rossi's right to defend the line.

To which we say, no.  Once Marquez has got a nose ahead of Rossi he has the right to the racing line... to 'defend' his position any further Rossi assumes the role

of the attacking rider not the defending one and everything is reset.

Aha, so Simoncelli should never have got that penalty in Le Mans then for turning over Pedrosa?

Well no, riders racing each other closely have to give each other enough room so as not to be deliberately forcing each other off the track or into accidents.

Well in that case why didn't anybody complain about Rossi being too forceful at Laguna this weekend?

Because a) Marquez didn't come to any harm and 'kept' the advantage he had won fairly on the brakes

                     b ) Marquez doesn't give a .... because he loves racing

                     c) Everyone likes Rossi

... There we go, I did both halfs of the arguent because I still haven't decided firmly where i stand on all this.

Exactly what I thought and I couldn't have put it better myself.  This should be nominated for post of the year.

Marquez saw Rossi run wide, so instead of braking and letting him have the turn, he takes the lame way out and cuts the corner. If it were sand there or gravel pit, he'd have conceded the position to Rossi, or he would've cut the turn, dumped the bike through the sand/gravel and spit debris all over the track and probably punted rossi off as he skidded down the hill. It's really a no win situation... Still, Marquez should have conceded, he didn't have the inside line and Rossi was blocking his line. He should be penalized but he won't be so no point arguing that.

At last we have a bit of spice back in motogp and what do we get? pages of ..... wining. Costa says what we all thought about Danny and we get pages of ..... wining. I'm not sure what you're on about here. I can only assume since you misspelled whining so many times that maybe you've been wining as in drinking bottles of wine instead of glasses at a time. Drunk?

Krop.

Since your now posting videos could you please find one of another motorcycle rider passing on the outside in the corkscrew........................................................................................................................................im waiting.

Having trouble finding one?

Thought so. Thats because noone passes outside in the corkscrew because there is not legitimate line there

Marquez was past, Rossi torpedoed him. Simple. Even for the hard of comprehension, although it appears that a double-digit IQ is required...

Good to see you posting Tom.

I actually don't think Simoncelli should have been penalised.

What if Bautista pulled that move on Rossi instead of Marquez? Same reaction?

He would be placed before a firing squad

You completely missed the point Krop.
Marquez braked impossibly late and ran off the road so that he could outbrake Rossi, that is unfair advantage.

So if for example we have Lorenzo and Pedrosa side by side on the straights to a chicance...

Pedrosa on the outside braked super late, and could not make it for the chicane and ran across the chicane. Pedrosa was already ahead of Lorenzo when they were in the entry of the first chicane...

Can you still say that Pedrosa did not gain an advantage here because he was already ahead?
Marquez passed Rossi coming up the hill, not under braking.Rossi braked late to try and take away Marquez's line, and ran himself and Marquez off.

No, Yamaha has 4 engines with 1 being fresh, Honda has 5 engines with 3 being fresh. I think. Waiting on Krops report. Come on Krop, ya lazy ....... :)

What the .... is Krop gonna do, hold up fingers so you can count? 3 is more than 1 any way you look at it .......

You initially said Yamaha is OUT of engines. Then you convinced yourself that maybe they have 1 engine left. The facts are, Yamaha has 4 useable engines the last i heard. That is not zero, that is not 1, its 4. Shall i get a crayon and draw you a picture.

Now that we have that out of the way, what im hoping for from Krop is the amount of usage that Yamaha has on the 3 engines they have already used and are still available, and how much more use they can expect to get out of them. Is that understandable Cheech.

Well it appears that most interweb fans of GP are of singular IQ because the majority of comments across the net, regarding the pass, feel otherwise then you

Race Direction agrees with Kropotkin 100%

The race results will stand exactly as they are.

There will be no penality or foul accessed.

The interweb group don't know Jack Schit

Ok Harvard, why dont you take your crayons and abacus then figure what is better. 1 fresh Yamaha engine vs 3 fresh Honda engines.

he already told you. different policy of use of the engine. honda uses the same engine till termination, and yamaha choose to use one for the qualy, another one for the race, etc. thou is true that yams had problems with 1 engine that was send back to japan for inspection.
