You can hardly refer to Jum's posts as boring. I defy anyone to read the 2008 Laguna threads, 2010 and 2011 for example and conclude that they're boring. I've visited Jum in the U.S. twice and can testify that the guy genuinely maximises his existence to the fullest. He's possibly one of the most interesting and industrious people I have ever met. Further, he doesn't feel the need to continuously brag and ........ over the internet anonymously because his actions speak for themselves - unlike you.
You claim to hate everyone on here, but as the unflushable turd of powerslide continue to troll your incessant .....
You implore and exort members on here to get out and do things then criticise someone that travels thousands of miles annually to watch motorcycle racing -the sport we love, yet you yourself are scared off by 'the traffic' You are an expert on everything, you claim to have done everything, you belittle anyone that disagrees with you, you have zero in the way of integrity introspection and humilty, you are arrogant, supercilious, condescending and being so full of ........ are completely unable to substantiate or qualify any of your ludicrous claims. How did I miss this?!? I spa my drink out at work looking at that! Couldnt make it this year Jums, but i'll be moving to Washington State in 2014 so am definately planning a trip to 'Guna then (If MGP still exists of course)

You claim that 'backing in' refers to shutting the throttle on a motorcycle and initiating a slide on the approach to a corner by body positioning alone and thus involves no use of either the downshift or the rear brake. Not only is this what is constituted by backing in as a racing technique as you describe it but you also maintain that this method as described by you is harnessed by racers accross the world. Am I correct in my summing up of your understanding of backing in a motorcycle?
Secondly I'm intrigued what is exactly meant by a couch hound?

So in order to debate would you mind saving me that effort an briefly summing up what you believe is meant by backing in a motorcycle and I will glady reciprocate without asking you to look up any previous posts. If we both establish our contentions then we will be able to proceed with the discussion.

So if I were to debate this with Arrab, like an intelligent human being, he would give his arguments against being able to back it in using only throttle shutoff amd I would say my arguments for how it IS possible (which It isnt)...We could also both cite examples of where its been used such as video clips, pictures or asking professional motorcycle racers. You have none of this and just shout louder to enforce your 'point'...much like a conspiracy theorist with no evidence....

Not at all, and your argument is typical of someone who has no real evidence to back up their claims...by shouting that you are being ganged up on and only the 'mates' of the person you are debating agree with them. Newsflash, maybe they agree with them because they are right and have facts and examples to prove their case? Thats how courts of law work buddy, on evidence...not tales or opinion.
So your 'backing it in' theory, is this on dirt or tarmac? Because to engage rear wheel slip with no application of brake or downshifting would primarily require a high engine compression to induce engine breaking to the rear wheels. This may be possibly on a dirt bike on a loose surface but not on a roadbike, and especially not a MGP bike with slipper clutches designed to do exactly the opposite.

Nonsense - As far as I'm concerned this is purely a discussion between you and I irrespective of other members on here. I have provided you with a multitude of references and links from professional racers and riders in support of my argument - and even offered to debate this solely with you again on a separate thread. You even posted a link yourself which you obviously hadn't read properly (by a journalist) which unfortunately for you highlighted the role of the downshift in backing in a supermoto. I pointed that out at the time and as always whenever someone proves you wrong you deflect it or blindly ignore it.
Whatever your view is of the Michael Neeves clip it does, irrespective of what you think of his riding, explain what is conventionally meant by the term backing in which is what is in dispute here.
You asked for evidence regarding my belief that you are incapable of rational debate - Your last few posts are testament to precisely that. I wouldn't ask you to look up something I'd said - I'd simply reassert it and if you yourself had conviction behind what you are saying you would too.
Michael Neeves can't ride? Firstly, how do you qualify that? and secondly what gives you the right to? So according to Barry, bike journalists tend to be poor riders? That'll include the late John Robertson or Gus Scott then, or perhaps Nial McKenzie or Whitham.
