Jum's I was going to PM you today to tell you the crappy news that I'm not going to make it. You remember when I told you this was the same weekend as a National being hosted at our local BMX track, well it would seem that my 15 year old is trying to regain some form so that he can make his mains at this race.
I'm sort of bummed as I had the money, the time (new project will not start until Fall of 2011), and the Mrs blessing! I also had some additional money for bail just in case.
If I had just went ahead and purchased my airline tickets back in February like I had planned I wouldn't had a choice but to fly out and have the best weekend of my life making new lifelong friends and teaching all y'all some Southern...
Ok...so that brings us to the matter of my $10 you are in possession of. This is what I want to do and it's not negotiable, lets come up with a way for me to be there in spririt...meaning...the $10 is pulled out and some words will be spoken in my behalf...etc etc...then you blow it on the most deserving Powerslider of the trip on Saturday night on Cannery Row...to buy he/she a beer,shot, lap dance, or whatever! And I want pictures of the winner with said prize! We'll call it the "L8Braker PowerSlide Party Go'r of the WeekEnd!" award. I know...$10 don't buy much but its all about the spirit of the meet.
