Jorge's Documentary "Jorge"

Looks great to me. Looking forward to seeing it one day.

LOL ok. But this guys only one a single big boys class GP title. LOL. He didn't have Vale around the entire season for one thing. There are past champions besides Valentino that have won more world championchips than Jorge that don't have a documentary about them. It is just weeee bit egotisitical of Jorge, and also rediculous to have this out so early in his career. If he won lets say 7 titles then I could see it but Jorge isn't a Valentino Rossi by any stretch. I am pretty sure we all will see him decend through the ranks rather than stay where he thinks he is...on his high horse.

There is probably a really good chance that Jorge didn't wake in the middle of the night with this idea
<
I'm sure this was one of his people's ideas.

That and the guy won a MotoGP World Championship. If that isn't sports documentry worthy I don't know what is! And anytime a team wins a championship in North America (NFL,NBA,NHL) there is usually a documentry to follow. I don't see how this is an issue.

Stoner won it, Nicky Hayden did before Jorge did, not to mention Valentino. I am not so sure about Jorge not dreamin it up either, LOL. YOu most likely right though about someone else say the king of spain finally happy that someone finally got them the desperatly needed championship so now they annoint him. Ohhh it just reaks of d-bag status to me. Glad he won it instead of Dani cause instead of a documentary of Pedrosa I am sure it would have turned into one about PUig, LOLOL.

i'd like to see it. it's always nice to get to know a rider a bit more. I wish the preview had subtitles tho haha!

is there one about stoner by any chance? i'd love to watch a story about him and get to know him more outside of what we see in motogp. I think he gets put in the bad light undeservedly.

I think this is a product of the times we live in. Jorge is trying to do two things here, build his brand and make money. I actually think that Jorge is best at it out of all the riders apart from vr. I also think that Jorge absolutely wants the following that Rossi built, shame about his personality.

No movie style documentary on Stoner. The closest you will get is an interview he did for an Australian current affairs show (60 minutes I think)

Have you seen who produced it? Dorna and a Spanish TV. They have to have another star ready for the moment Valentino retires. At the moment their best bet is Jorge, but that's more for lack of a viable alternative than for Jorge's (less than irresistible) charisma. It's not so easy to find someone who is a winner and also a born media star.

Maybe, in the future... maybe Scott Redding. But he needs time and luck.

LOL! shots fired!!

stoner's young still..he's probably got some championships left in him

and maybe spies will light the world on fire....or that marquez kid from the 125s...

BRING ON SEPANG!

That is nothing to be sniffed at!! Christ it is a pretty big sporting achievement. Like others have said, it is good for their to be some focuss on riders other than Rossi. It is good for the sport and good for Jorge... and good for the fans that are interested. There are plenty of documentaries and books for Lewis Hamilton already, people like rising stars.

It is just weeee bit egotisitical of Jorge,

They are racers, it's normal. Not the first and wont be the last. Just read any biography of a racer, Rossi's one is a great example

Bingo! They are simply grooming the next media star. Without one, viewership will go ....-up the instant Valentino fecks off to drive cars.

I do get a chuckle from the folks (largely fans of #46) whining about Jorge's 'ego.' Yes, Mr. Lorenzo's self esteem is plenty well developed, but Rossi's is in a class of its own.

There was a 30 minute doco made at the end of 2007, by TEN Australia. This is a short of part of it I think?

There was the full thing out there in two parts on youtube, I think it was called "27 to 1", but I can't find it now.
