Less than a race separates the leaders. If Marc crashes out of a race, it's a very different title race.

I think Marc can crash out of one race and still win the championship.

He's 28 points ahead of Vinales and I don't think V has what it takes this year. Partially the bike but partially him too.

He's 16 ahead of Dovi but he could claw back 9 points on him easy. Dovi doesn't have what it takes and perhaps the bike doesn't either.

But, Marc could hurt himself too.

So close to the end now each race is one less chance to recover.

Hope he stays on!!

Also, so glad these three weekends are finally here ...

1. Marquez
2. Lorenzo (A girl can dream can't she?)
3. Zarco

Can't bloody wait regardless of the result. Best part of the Oceania races is getting to see them at a normal time instead of late at night!

It's gonna be a wet race. MM will win probably.

The whole weekend looks like ..... This the type race where a non contender ( Lorenzo,Petrucci, Crutchlow, Dani) can throw caution to the wind and maybe pull off the win. Vinales can't go for broke yet, nor can Dovi. If they throw it down the road it's over. Marquez is in the best position to go for broke but I doubt he will, but who knows with him, dude is fearless. He may just say to himself .... it, I'm better than these guys , if I crash I can make it up. I'm not going to try and predict this weekend, just hold my breath and hope for the best.

Sad thing is that on FB and other social media platforms people are blaming Lornezo for braking too early or going to slow on the racing line.

Crutchlow is one of the biggest pieces of .... on the grid.

It's been said time and time again.

Lorenzo was not at fault in any shape, form, or way for what was a case of Crutchlow running way too hot for the conditions and losing control. Rather than accept a modicum of responsibility for his own error, he once again blames something else --as has always been the case-- for his own malfeasance.

It's a classic case of unsafe and dangerous riding on his part in dangerous conditions, and his post-session behavior is in my opinion enough to warrant a back of the grid start for the race as he just doesn't get it. Lorenzo could easily have had his leg broken because of that stunt, and I'm frankly amazed he escaped without any type of injury because of how the bike hit the Ducati.

So what do you guys think of Crashy blaming BroLenso? :p

Seriously, these guys are in great shape. Jorge has been whacked a couple of times unexpectedly and walked away unscathed. Probably good fortune too that his leg hasn't yet taken the brunt of the impacts.

Very unusual highside for MM. He actually looked upset in the pits afterward. Which is also rare.

Ducati looks awfully good with those ridiculous wings. Note that Aprilia now runs the same kind of hammerhead aerodynamics. I hope they find the acceleration that they need. I am rooting for Aprilia to be seriously competitive before KTM.

If what Crutchlow said is true that Lorenzo was running 6 seconds slower than his previous lap, Lorenzo was cruising on the racing line and needs to take some blame. I haven't checked the previous laps and where they were relative to track position but when I get a minute I will watch replay leading up to crash

How in any way could Crashy think Lorenzo had any fault at all for that??
Answer: out of touch with reality.

Can't blame him too much given he lives in a bubble. Despite Cuntslow having a consistent pattern of crashing, it's not his fault.. because:

1. Normally when you crash this much race direction, and the sport media grill you about it. Except in Cuntslow's case, reporter's never take him to task, quite the opposite, like Matt Oxley who wrote an article rationalizing that Cal crashing thee most in a season illustrates many positive traints. Message to Cuntslow: crashing good, you good.

2. Normally when you quit on a factory 2 year contract in the first year you're let go and correctly blacklisted in the paddock for being dishonorable. Instead he was picked up by a satellite team. Message: quiting is good, you good.

3. Normally when you openly talk .... about testing duties wilst riding a satellite machine you'd be shown the door at contract time. Instead he was signed to a factory contract. Message: talking smack about factory good, you good.

4. Normally when you talk .... about competitors and incessantly boast about yourself arrogantly people normally correctly concluded he's a prick. Instead they rationalize that we don't get 'British humour'. Message: insulting arrogance is funny good, you good.

It's apropos to note, when Pedrosa crashed into a slow moving Cuntslow in a race, he demanded Pedrosa apologize immediately with a millisecond of the incident. Which Pedrosa did actually through hand gesture, it wasn't enough, Cuntslow berated Pedrosa whilst at the gravel. Then when any normal person would have calmed down, he said some hate filled disparaging words about a fellow factory rider who dropped out of contention. Saying he was glad Pedrosa had lost his points position, a real ....... chickenshit thing to say. You think the media took him to task? People agreeing with Cuntslow that it's Lorenzo's fault is totally a reflection of Jorge's unpopularity and nothing to do with Cuntslow's assessment; its simply the Rossi Cult scourge that envelops this sport. Notwithstanding, Cuntslow will get a pass yet again feeding into his total disconnect with reality. Btw, this fabrication by Cuntslow isn't new, he has claimed before that he crashed due to "slower riders" in front of him.

Edit to add: if Cuntslow ever crashes out Rossi, you'll see a different tune. Not that it will ever happen though, Cuntslow rides around Rossi like he's Petrucci.

It's interesting to see the dislike people have for other riders, I mean I'm no fan of Cal myself, personally I think that should be Rea's bike but hey ho.

For the record the only rider I've ever actively disliked is Alastair Seeley but that's a different series.

Can't argue with the Rea opinion, too much. Personally, I think Chaz should be there, too. Those two are especially fast. And I use to think the other MM was pretty good in MotoGP. Obviously, he's not quite up to their standard, any more.

Cal is a bit of a gadfly with his ridiculous excuses. And I agree with Jumkie that getting the 3rd Factory Honda after bad-mouthing Ducati is in poor form. He can be really fast, but only in limited spurts. I am pretty sure that Rea and Davies would beat him on matched bikes. Maybe even Sykes could do it. There are a couple of riders I dislike for their over aggressive riding, but we will keep that a secret for now. Cal just has a bad/big mouth, and needs to stfu to make me not ridicule him. (Oh, and stop crashing out of 8th.)

Kropo is probably writing a character assassination piece on Lorenzo at the moment saying that if Lorenzo had any talent to feel the front end of the Ducati he would not have been dawdling on the racing line.
