Is there any way for Rossi to win legit?

Seeing as all the sane (and I use that word loosely) people here have already decided that The Great Shaitan cannot legitimately win the WC - has anyone considered under what circumstances they might change their mind? This question is not posed to lunatic Boppers who already have decided that Rossi should win every race from here til eternity - but rather all of us who have pre-ordered our Lorenzo 2015 championship T-shirts.

I'll start.

Like... what if Lorenzo gets hit by lightning at the track?

What if Lorenzo gets the sniffles and can't race?

What if Lorenzo's bike runs out of gas two laps before the flag?

What if Lorenzo gets secretly married to Johnny Depp and elopes on race day?

Neither JL nor VR will play it off legit.
The WC is so tainted now that the concept of "legit" has gone out the window.

Pressure off Rossi nothing to lose but go for it, he will spend every session getting Race set up bang on the money,
if Rossi is in top 8 after lap 1-2 its Game on

MM93 Will go for the win the dispel the im helping #99
and so will Dani

maybe the unknown is what the Ducs can do at Valencia

But Valencia has not been good to Rossi over the years
the title might be gone before a wheel has turned

JLo takes out MM by showing the edge of the track...

Or MM takes out JLo by showing him the edge of the track...

Or Rossi starts at back of grid, wins race with JLo ending up more than 24 points behind him (and so nullifying the 16 points gained in Sepang)....

Or we can just go enjoy the race, and go along with the whatever the outcome is....since in time most people that watch MotoGP wont remember Sepang.....

Hey Kesh, been a while mate.

Personally i think he has 1 chance & thats F**K ALL chance.

The thing is it doesnt really matter who wins it this year, the damage has been done & it is not repairable now so who ever lifts the trophy, it will be a hollow undeserved title in my opinion (2nd for VR & 3rd for JL).

Out of the 2 i want VR to win as i cant stand JL, dont get me wrong neither are deserving of it but i would rather see VR win.

Howdy! Great to see yer name up here. Truth to tell, I'm so overwhelmed by all the pedantry and sophism and just plain doggedness of posters both clever and totally bonkers that I haven't fully processed the whole thing to where I'm sure of how I feel. My tendency is to think Rossi's being sent to the back of the grid is sufficient a penalty and what happens happens.

But tell me... who do you think should be winning the WC?

Well Hermano... I wouldn't bet money on that. This .... has been like 9-11 for some folks.

Personally i would send all 3 to the back, take away all the championship points they have scored & let the title be won by one of 3 or 4 riders who have been working their nuts off all season, have not lost their cool on track rather than bitching in the press & to RD, just plain cheating & loosing their cool.

why do you still care?

i don't really get it... why does anybody still care... lorenzo's gonna win.. .and it's gonna be ....... it's all tainted since last week and the championship is over... i don't like lorenzo, still he is neiter stupid or can't ride.. so he will win the championship... and as a rossi fan i have to admit, it's possibly all rossis fault... and a little the FIM's fault... What a joke the president of the FIM: quote; "I express the hope that at the next and final round in Valencia the riders will fight it out on the track and in a way that fully respects the spirit of fair play."
Very Funny after they blocked valle to the back... what a hyprocrit... they don't give a .... about riding... it's all about money... because if it was rossis fault, then he should have been disqualifed... black flag finish.. but they were too much of ...... to do so... Or it was just a racing accident, in wich case there should be no punishment.... so lorenzo will win and every rossi fan will be pissed and if rossi somehow still makes it, lorenzo will be pissed because he was not disqualified... what a farce... i aint gonna pay for another year for dorna, which is to expansive anyway, especially because they charge extra for superbikes...

Indeed, the championship will be tainted because they didn't blackflag Rossi and gave him no penalty for kicking someone out of track. But at least, if Lorenzo wins it, a little bit of justice has been done which would make this tainted pro Rossi championship a little bit less tainted.

I don't like violence in sports,mostly,but the only way to negate sepang is if rossi eats his own medicine.
