your .... just gets better and better. you have single handedly bagged out 3 of the most successfull riders of the modern gen and one from the not so distant past.
so tell us, you ....... genius, which world champs from the past 25 years are talented and worthy in your narrow ... eyes? or dont you have the knowledge that you profess to have, to be able to discuss wc's from more than 3-4 seasons ago?

Kevin Shwantz and Wayne Rainey are the last of the real warriors. Michael Doohan has guts to ride through pain, but all his 5 championships are hollow as he did not have real competition. Doohan won nothing when Kevin and Wayne Rainey are healthy. He started winning only after Rainey got paralyzed and Kevin lost motivation and retired.

You mean after Kevin was getting flogged by his team-mate, evinced that he was really sympathetic to the rider he actually hated his entire career, couldn't get on the podium, pretended his injuries were holding him back, so gave up a factory seat and then held a press conference at which he actually blubbed?

Kevin lost motivation is true.
Daryl Beattie was beating Kevin in 1995, correct, but it was not level playing field.
A true Aussie wouldn't be too proud to beat a champion whose head is not right and not in it anymore.

Kryin' Kevin, the Texan Tissue-abuser sooked off after getting flogged by the Australian World Champion and his compatriot. Worse was that the Beattie was his team-mate. Lost his #1 sticker to an antipodean Hop-a-Long the year before and couldn't hack being #2 Seppo rider after JohnnyK beat him on a effin' Cagiva, of all things. Shouldn't have even turned up in '95 if his legacy was going to be an embarassing teary press conference. This is the injury-whinger who got stuck into Lawson at his retirement dinner.

Along with you I am sure, I don't agree with this of course, to finish first you first must finish, and to quote jack brabham, also cited in recent threads, motor racing is the art of winning at the slowest possible speed, possibly also apposite for jorge lorenzo vs dani pedrosa in the 2012 season.

Cuckoo has dropped the sport into a bigger hole than the Lance Armstrong drug scandal, there has never been a worthy champion. They all sucked.
I feel kinda dirty right now. I mean, my feelings towards Doohan were in my mind unique and special because he was unique and special, you know, the real goat.
So the question I have to ask of Cuckoo.

leave Cukoo alone and he will start underestimating each MotoGp champion in history till he gets to someone like Augostini. He might come up with something like this:"the first 5 titles of Augostni were in a period of time where all the riders were racing with horses and he was the only one riding a bike."

As everybody has justified, the Honda found speed mid-season, Dani finally found the settings that made him win halfway through the season, Jorge and Casey has their bikes winning straight away. Had Casey not been injured, would Dani have secured as many wins as he did? I really do doubt it
So could I deduce from your comments that you think Dani is still capable of winning the premier class? with Rossi back at Yamaha and Marquez(shudder to think) there's two reasons why I don't think he ever will be champion
