I found a sandal
I think it's a sign
Lorenzo is a worthy champion
On a serious note getting more points than Stoner and Pedro and that rather swanky Honda is a "big deal" - if Stoner Pedro and Rossi as well as 'Nick 2006' were all on the Ducati I'm calling him piss weak. But the best bike was the Honda. He got in ahead of Pedro who has been gifted every championship since 2005.
Can you do something about the cows on my roof? Anyhoo off to work!

Is Lorenzo a worthy champion?
Does a fish have a waterproof head?

Don't matter Krop, it's off-season. We need something to keep us busy, otherwise the wife's will start demanding we mend the roof or do the dishes.

In that case, I'm off to create me a mess of fake noobs....

This calls for a help: who can think of usernames for Krop's sock-puppets?
I give to floor to the fine gentlemen (and ladies) of PS....

In 2011, Rossi was on an unrideable bike (for him anyway); Pedrose crashed out twice and missed 4 races; Lorenzo crashed out once and missed 2 races.
Was Stoner a worthy champion?
In 2009, Lorenzo crashed out 4 times; Pedrosa started the season injured from pre-season testing and crashed out twice, and Stoner was severly struggling and eventually missed 3 races due to sickness and crashed before reaching the starting line at the last race
Was Rossi a worthy champion?
in 2008, Lorenzo crashed out 4 times and missed a race, Pedro was crashed in pre-season testing, crashed out twice and missed one race, Stoner crashed twice and suffered a loose onboard camera, with his Ducati having the tire it was build around removed
Was Rossi a worthy champion?
In 2007, both Pedrosa and Rossi crashed out 4 times. Stoner carefully cruised home in 6th place in Japan to take the title.
Was Stoner a worthy champion?
So, six years of 800cc saw no deserving champions. I could go back further. What to think of that one Austrialian guy that only started taking his titles after his strongest competitors left the sport? Or that Italian guy took most of his titles when the field was devoid of strong competitors on competitive machinery? Or that other Italian guy, the one that took all his titles on vastly superior machinery?

I put this up earlier but it seems to have gone so here it is again, Is Lorenzo a worthy champion?
this is a ....... stupid question because he won the title full stop and cuckoo you are a massive ...... because you think you know what it takes to win a world title.

By this reasoning, there has never been a worthy champion. With the possible exception of Leslie Graham on the AJS Porcupine.

I am amazed at your simple approach attitude.
Title = worthy champion.
Life is not so simple, you need to be analytical, without having an analytical approach, you will not see the real truth and picture.
Because you lacked some analytical ability, you did not realize Lorenzo is not a worthy champion.

1 LORENZO Jorge 350 1-1 1-2 4-2 4-1 2-1 4-1 3-NC 5-2 2-1 1-2 2-2 1-2 2-1 1-2 1-2 1-2 2-2 2-NC
First number is starting position, second number is finishing position. 6 wins, 10 seconds, 2 DNFs, one of which was not his own fault.
By this reasoning, there has never been a worthy champion. With the possible exception of Leslie Graham on the AJS Porcupine.

Yes he is a worthy double champion. Has raced against & beaten the best many times. Everyone needs some luck to win championships.
Everyone also needs a great bike.
