Is Hayden's Ego getting the best of him??

Although "Trick Daddy" is highly suspect & sounds like a child molesting villian from 60's Batman.

HAHAHAHA... child predator!!

P.S. I like your prayers... In the name of the Vale, and the Rossi, and the sons of Doctors.. amen.

Then again “Doctor” does not necessarily mean someone that knows about medicine… Professional, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral, talking about someone that is above “Master” on a well-known area under discussion. After analyzing numbers (990cc era):

The Doctor – 45 wins – 55% - Doctorate.
Gibers – 8 wins – 10% - Master.
T-Rex – 6 wins – 7% – Master.
Gladiator – 5 wins – 6% – Master.
“Melandri” – 5 wins – 6% – Master.
“Barros” – 3 wins – 4% – Bachelor.
Trick Daddy – 3 wins – 4% – Bachelor.
“Pedrosa” – 2 wins – 2% – Bachelor.
“Tamada” – 2 wins – 2% – Bachelor.
Bayllistic – 1 win – 1% – Pro.
“Elias” – 1 win – 1% – Pro.
“Ukawa” – 1 win – 1% – Pro.

Under Doctoral level all add up 37 wins!

The rest of the field – Nice Try!

it would be so dull without him its partly the reason f1 would like him because of his charisma, if he left moto gp it would leave a massive hole in the sport.

yes it would be dull without him. be brought some fun into the sport more so in 250's with his mad victory stunts,
happily i dontthing we have to worry about him leaving for a while yet.

I don't think it'd be dull without him at all, there are soo many characters and exciting people in the paddock we would just have more time to look at the others.

As for F1, if Rossi wen't there the sport wouldn't change, it'd still be PR ruled and the racing wouldn't get better either. But thousands of people would watch it just because Rossi was there and then kid themselfes that he transformed the sport. He won't change F1 if he goes, and i doubt he'll go.

went theres no exclaimation mark x

How silly of me. maybe it shows that i never wen't to my english lessons.

hahahaha.

It wouldn't be ultimately dull without Rossi. The championship is the championship & if it's racing you're interested in you'll follow it forever. It would be different without him though, I certainly know my interest will never reach these heights again.

Rossi's outspokenness alone would change F1, it's that simple. & You'd have to be crazy to think there wouldn't be some fun with him slinging it down the inside & taking everybody off in the first year

Kind of a clash in this opinion… “As for F1, if Rossi went there the sport wouldn't change” and “But thousands of people would watch it just because Rossi was there”… that implies a transformation in F1 within itself!

"thousands of people would watch it"...

In comparison to car racers, it seems that big-name riders are trying to lend their own little dose of style to the grid. "The Texas Tornado," "Capirex," "The Doctor" (on the bike and the leathers), the bulldog behind the seat of the Yamaha, The turtle on the yoke, King Arthur's sword, an endless variety of helmet paint jobs (including the laundry detergent helmet from 2004), the elaborate post-race celebrations, the seven dwarves gig in Sepang, and...
Worth quoting you here. (Fair and Balanced as usual).

Also, other than Rossi, who was the last Honda rider that won the championship to not wear the number one plate? Honda wants their bikes having the number one plastered all over them.

And the Trick Daddy name has been around since his early days in the AMA, I think it's more of a name among friends though.
Absolutely.

Rossi couldn't change F1, you get fined for speaking out of turn there (not kidding) so I guess he would spend half the season banned.

Agree.... and to add to that....

Just like on this forum, there are probably many people he comes across that have similar takes regarding his championship. Some must appreciate his accomplishment, and others find silly childish things to bring up as an indication of their own juvenile disapproval. This thread was started more to take shots at Hayden for his attire rather than to check out what’s new on the grid as a cool design. I'm sure he comes across haters like this all the time that try to point out everything and anything as a shot at his accomplishment. Its amazing how blind and hypocritical the arguments are that are made because they usually overwhelming can be applied to the rest of the riders especially the one they most compare him to, which is Rossi. The idea that his designs and carrying the number 1 plate is "going to his head" is outrageous. If anything, a break from tradition by keeping your own number to me was an indication that the previous champ thought himself bigger than the sport by not taking the number 1 plate. What, was he somehow better than all the champs before who proudly ran the number one plate? Please, if anybody every in the history of this sport was as flamboyant enough to warrant the accusation that his success was "going to his head" the person that would top the charts would have to be you know who. But fine, he earned that privilege.

You’ll always have the mindless cheerleaders (new and old) and those just looking for something to take away from Hayden’s accomplishment. As silly as most of these point are, at least I noticed a distinct move toward the center with many others coming out (from some Rossi fans on this thread) and pointing out that Hayden is the champ and deserves to wear what he wants on account that he earned it. And that is rather refreshing.

Well what is left??? You already think Rossi is "God". With a capital "G" no less. I'm not sure you could think of him any more higher so I could see how your views may have to change "slightly" cuz I think you've reached the upper limit...

There you go, a simple answer to a simple question.

I often wonder what Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs would have looked like trudging back to the woods without being able to throw the celebration!

Bla bla bla. Yeah, I can see why Hayden has the "numbers don't l1e" motif. Just can't seem to wrap your mind around it can you? Don't try to explain why his nickname, the Docotor, is so "appropriate", it’s just a nickname; don't look too much into it. He probably didn't even pick it himself. As most nicknames are started by others anyway. "Doctor" is not more relevant or clever than "The Kentucky Kid". It's a nickname for god sakes.

As you know chap I got taken as an anti Valentino type of blokey when I first joined here. I'm not, in fact the truth is I'm a big big fan! I'm open minded and have massive appreciation for all those guys who make it to the big stage.
Problem is, I'm also British, with a sick British sense of humour!!!

Mindgames or not, if he made some kind of joke it would be ok, as it is it sounds as if he needs to remind himself more than any others.
Obviously he's somehow often enough reminded that he was lucky last year and he find that so anoying that he has to make a statment like that. Doesn't look like his confidence is on top.
So, to answere the topic: Quite the oposite.
