I likesss LoL x

I know i appear very anti hayden but I think im changing my view on things slightly. To me Rossi is God he is a legend + he IS moto gp but equally if someone said to me you can take the title from last year and hand it to vale i wouldnt want to take it away from hayden now . . . and vale wouldnt either. Its not as though valentino has hated hayden + slags him off, he's congratulated him and said he is pleased. Events may have happened we dont agree with as rossi fans but now its the 2007 season. We cant change last year + im going to view 2007 as a fresh year. Vale will always be number 1 but ive realised i would hate any rider who took away his championship not just nicky x

Nah just being silly really. I like all that stuff rossi does. But i do agree that if Nicky had kept 69 it'd be a shame. I like to see the number 1 on track, and he would have been slated for "copying Rossi".

Interestingly i have read that Bayliss was keeping 21 for 2007. I didn't know he was especially attatched to it......

he's good ,but he aint that good, sure he's a legend but i wouldnt go so far as to say "he is moto gp" ive followed the sport a long time before vale and will continue to follow long after.
dont get me wrong tinks, im a fan,i got the tattoo to prove it

+1^^^ 1 man defo don't make the show!

He was 21 before the two titles? did you just make this up or did he say it, not that it makes a difference.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (roger-m @ Feb 9 2007, 01:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>he aint motogp.

I agree, but he almost won them all since the name switch. So I'd call him the KING of MotoGP!!! It will take at least five (four in the case of NH) more years for someone equals him, or <strike>if</strike> when they change it to ElectricMotoGP, he will always hold the MotoGP crown! There will never be one man of GP racing.

I think rossi is obviously a big deal for the sport but he doesn't make it. when he stops riding there is no way i will be any less interested in moto gp. I'd say the sport has made him great, not the other way around.

I for one hope that it is a mind game... with Rossi seeing the number... that should fuel the battle one track... we have seen Rossi rough Gibers... with seen Hayden rough with Edwards... now let's see those two rough it out...

and if Rossi wins back the title... it'll be awesome (as a mind game play) that he post a huge #1 from the front of the fairing through his helmet to the back of his suit to the tail of the fairing... like WHO IS NUMBA ONE ........ LOL... sorry... I love mind games as long as the riders respect each other like the two boys are with each other.

I think there is a mental advantage to wearing the number 1, because people are reminded all the time that you are the champion. But in recent years i think the number 46 is worht more. Don't you think?

Ok, I thought we were taking about “egos”…

Doctors that are not, Kids that are not, Tornadoes that are not, T-Rex that are not, or Ballistic that are not, etc… They all having nicknames for themselves is ok, we all do it, not need to be a rider. But the “Ego” theme is another matter.
<

But the names are all quite egotistic arn't they, in some way or another they are all about ego. Most of them sound like they could be off of a shaving advert or some other testosterone fueled idea.

& There was me thinking they were just having fun!!

Although "Trick Daddy" is highly suspect & sounds like a child molesting villian from 60's Batman.
