<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>The Bridgestone qualifying tyre is not a bad peice of work, so it`s easier for them to put down fast lap times, but the race tyres are crap, they don`t have the life that the Michelins have, which is why Sete, Vermulen, Nakano and Hopper usually drop back in the race after qualifying well.
richo if bridgestones race tires were really crap cappers would not be leading the championship right now. they have some problems at certain tracks, but far from crap they are.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I'm confused because shinya and vermulen sometimes are on the first or second row from qualifying, that means that are just as fast or faster than a lot of the other bikes on those days. Then why do they still not run up from and do they really have a slower bike. I don't understand this. I don't see how anyone with an inferior bike should EVER qualify on the top two rows.
Thanks
nick nakano has always been a really good qualifyer. but he's never been able to race it up with the top guys. it's always the same with him. he qualifys well, then when the race starts he gets in the way, holds faster guys up, eventually gets passed by faster guys, then fades to midpack to battle for 6 7 8 position. his whole big class career has been like this.
as for the mole, it's his 1st season on a crap bike. he's got a lot to absorb. so you've got to cut him some slack.
