A friend from Kentucky told me this might be the last Indy GP. I wonder how much truth there is to this, Kropo?

My prediction: Nicky Hayden for the win, yes, the GP11.1.69-minus-$500 forks will win. (Yes, me myself & Irene are predicting the "unthinkable" happening this weekend.)

Go Hurricane Irene, we need your services at Indy.

Indy only signed a further one year deal which ends this year, and they have resurfaced turns 5 through to 16

I would be surprised if Indy repaved the infield for one race, so unless Dorna is yanking the rug I doubt that it is true.

Anything can happen, ...., we may or may not go to Motegi based on unsubstantiated fears, so nothing is beyond happening.

If Indy is serious about retaining a USGP, then this will be leveraged by Dorna for sure. I'm skeptical about the Circuit of the Americans coming online before the deadline, but that's just because I know how difficult it is to get a venue of that magnitude done (living in LA, we've been trying to get a NFL stadium in the 2nd largest market in the country with no luck). I don't think the US will host three GP, but I may be wrong, as its happened before. And now that Dorna is trying to expand their market here, they just might go ahead and try it. Either way, I fully expect to be at Austin, sippin on some good ...., at Curves pad IF it happens. Btw, Biggy, would you be open to meeting up at Laguna next year (do you still live next to the track?) That is if you don't hate me already. hahaha

I'd like to make Laguna, but I live in Delaware (DO NOT EVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE) at the moment. I hope to be living on the west coast (but in Oregon or Washington) next year. My wife's family still lives around the peninsula so I may try to make the race - I have never attended a 4 stroke GP. If I go I have a lot of friends to catch up with, but I'm sure a beer at the English pub thing near the pits could be arranged one day!

I almost agree.I think Pedrosa is going to be on top all weekend,Stoner second(maybe first in a practice or two),Lorenzo 3rd.

But, Hayden is going to Beat both Dovisioso and Sic.Smooth track (mostly anyway according to Schwantz).

Spies is going to crash out.

Got a funny feeling that J-Lo will take the win.

Unfortunately, the various models agree that Irene is a fish storm, and will likely hug the coast for the next few days.

She might pay Kesh a visit Sunday. Would you like a hurricane to go with your earthquake, Sir?

Thats some American humour I can understand - a US trifecta

I predict that the average weight of the fans will be the highest of any MotoGP this season. I predict that most riders will say that those same fans are the best of any MotoGP this year, just like they said about the fans at the last round and the round before that..... I predict that the pole sitter will not win and that an American will be on the podium. I predict that Rossi will leave Indy 5th in the Championship and will finish after Hayden in the race.

Surely Hiroshi will beat Capi and Elias.

(I noticed you are banking on Simo not crashing. So he is reformed you think? (Honest question)

I'm not sure why but I've got Hiroshi having some kind of issue. Either he'll DNF or have some other kind of problem. Totally random...

Simo will do well the remainder of the season. He's gotten the stink off and he's going to settle down as a result. That's another random prediction.

I also don't see three US rounds. I think if and when the Texas facility opens, Indy looses their event.
