yep - been to see people i haven't seen for years man.

lovin the foot out thing now. so much more confidence in the bike even in the wet. lean angles that i would never have dared on my road bike especially on the dirty wet winter roads. the front end feels a bit light when i'm going at speed (it felt pretty light today when i was hoisting the front end off the throttle in 3rd !!!!
<
) but other that that - feel really comfortable on it.

stop what you're doing and go get a Supermoto

That 550 lump would be perfect for a purpose built track weapon.

Here's to hoping whatever sportbike gets the 550 is brought to the US!

Look the dogs man, you'll have a blast on the trackdays, Might not be your thing but after a few months or mabey next year you should check out to see if there is any local races in you area and join in the lower classes, their not fast, its cheap to enter and depending on the race officials generally all you need to do to the bike is use race tyres (wets or slicks) and you must mandatory fit a catchment tank for all engine and carburettor breathers, and rad overflow. The front brake mounting calliper bolts must be locked wired, so must the engine sump and fillers and radiator caps.
As a general rule if any of the above are not done you will be turned away at scrutiny..
I'm pretty sure you would have to take off all the lights aswell..

With a few mods you could be out rubbing shoulders with a grid full of Motards
