Honda: Data shows Rossi kick on MM

Of course it proofs nothing. Marquez is known for being an amateur that regularly just suddenly presses the brakes. Combining this with the statements Marquez made immediately after the race (he said Rossi kicked his brake) and the proof of the videos, it is clear that the only reasonable explanation is that Rossi didn't do anything :giggle:

Rossi harmed motorsport, but their fans are literally raping motorsport.

Marquez is known for regularly using his bike as a battering ram (he earned the nickname "Murder Mac" on this very forum). When you lean your bike into another bike, there's a chance a control lever will get pinched during the contact. IMO, it's more likely that Marc's lever got pinched than Rossi landing a perfectly placed "kick" after he felt contact on his leg while looking away and accelerating. Bottom line is that telemetry data does not prove Rossi kicked Marc's lever. I expect Honda to defend their #1 rider, but they shouldn't go so far as to make themselves look stupid in the process.

Yep. Hitler also thought Jews deserved to be gassed. Your opinion is based on nothing. You see Rossi slowing down, looking at Marc's bike, push the bike with a kick ... afterwards Marquez immediately said that Rossi kicked on the brake. Now the telemetry shows that is true. 1+1+1+1+1+1 = 6. But still, the Rossi fanboys don't want to see reality. If in a policy investigation so many proofs direct to someone as is now the case in the Rossi incident, Rossi would have been behind bars.

The same goes for Rossi and his fans. The kick is obvious, but still denying reality. This is tactics borrowed from the Nazi's.

ROFL at you using Hitler and Jews to try to refute my argument about a phantom kick. When you need to make such a horrible comparison, just laugh it off and admit you've lost. Thanks for the entertainment though.

Picturing this guy as a kid in school getting a math problem wrong.

Teacher: What's 2+5?
Marc Marquez: Uuumm 9.
Teacher: Wrong. Try again.
Marc Marquez: Well... Hitler thought the Jews deserved to be gassed. So that means my answer is right.

Can anyone explain Honda's decision to release this information now? (why wait more than 1 week to release it when the decision was being made after the race)

Also, if they are going to quote their data, how about they make it public or release it to the FIM?

I'm in favor of transparency, if it could be used as a factor, I'd like it to be officially submitted along with the telemetry of the whole race to properly ..... the situation.

Will that happen?

If it doesn't what kind of weight does this "proof" has?

Maybe because they like to have all the facts before commenting

Fair enough, but if they wanted proper punishment/sanction for Valentino, why was not this disclosed post race to the judging party?

Telemetry and race data takes more than a week to pull out? I'm pretty sure everything is available in real time during the race, and since Marquez finished it pretty early everything could of been analyzed before the end of it, no?

No, No my friend you can't use logic and common sense to get in the way of the VR Haters club forum. Somehow Rossi was responsible for Honda's delay in releasing this information and you will be told in every convoluted way possible very soon

Well I just wasted 5 minutes of my life reading though this thread that is basically a bunch of guys with rulers attached to their dicks as they stand side by side measuring them.

What I got from this thread....

- Mark Marquez does not know math and refers everything to Hitler.
- Everyone is 6'5" tall or taller.
- Rossi has a super kick or MM pinched himself into Rossi.
- Were all a bunch or ......

"pulls out popcorn"

Maybe not a week but they wouldn't have had the data live as they do in F1.

.... in a cart?

Honda should be embarrassed they're claiming telemetry data proves a kick occurred. The data shows the front brake was applied and does nothing to prove WHAT applied it.

Not really ........... (devils advocate)

They do not use the term 'deliberate' and they do need to support Marquez in his assertions

If the telemetry shows contact, many people will deduce it as a kick whereas others will say accidental ............. both will likely be right as one can kick unintentionally (reactionary kick ......... )

I am more interested in how it shows the brake/throttle applications, lean angles and tyre speeds personally

Interesting point you raise ............. if his lever was accidentally touched that the protection lever is NOT doing it's job and the design will or may need to be revisited

Not passing judgement either way, but if the lever was impacted then it opens a further can of worms

Talps, any delay for HRC to do the unprecedented (from my memory) and release the data is not Rossi's fault

Although he may have turned off power to HRC Headquarters out of spite
