Yamaha’s own history page about the M1 states that they screwed up the 2006 bike and could only fix it far too late into the season.

Dovi looks smooth, Marc looks like... well Marc :)

Rossi also looked very comfortable.

Jorge does not look happy, a few tantrums throughout the session...

Mav didn't look like he was having too much fun

I though Miller might have been a bit stronger given his pre season showing, but it is only FP1 :)

Dovi set his time on medium front and rear

Rossi set his time on medium front soft year.

They didn't say about the others.

I're reserved judgement on Miller with everyone saying he's going to be a regular top 5 this year, because of this exact reason. Redding was running in the top 3 in his first tests with Ducati and instagraming about how much he loved the bike, then the race season started.

That's some hot Dovi there.
But we should at least wait for FP2, with more representative conditions

Miller is probably going to sit midfield most of the time.

Good point. FP2 take place around race time sunday. The track cools more overtime at night.

Exactly. Times will go down, but relevant balance of power could change.
There are some big questions around Vin and Jorge, let's hope we'll sort out after FP2.

Lorenzo's bike sparking early in FP2

He was called into the pits, and they say the chain was rubbing on something.

It was a minor problem. I think he's putting some decent laps there, plus he grabbed 5th. Not bad for a long stint
