Used to have a DT250. Dropped a 400 engine in it. Became the death trap 400.
Weapon bike. Absolute crock suspension and brakes. But was fast.

Sold it many moons ago.

Was the DT400 engine as bad as the MX400 for breaking magneto keys? I had an MX400 for a while, always had to carry spare keys and a madneto puller lol.
Great Beach bike. 250 mx bikes noticed the soft sand so you didnt ride dunes often, but 400 and bigger .... dune bike.

Flashback. Yep. Big time. First few months after the build i pushed it home more often than not. Plenty just stashed it in the bush and came back next day. Thought at time was to do with wiring issues and the treatment the bike copped. Eventually had a mate give me something from an earlier model, cant recall what at the moment. Problem was solved though.

I'd love to do it again. This thing on road was awesome. Remember sticking it to a fully fledged rgv through the gorge one day. On knobbies.
