Good luck or is it over now?
Are they going to fuse them?

It was a discectomy. Trimmed away the discs and shaved off some bone. My left foot has been partly paralysed for a while. With a bit of luck it’ll comeback. In the meantime I’m putting air shifter on my bikes.

Versus the Barry method of backing it in....

Like Id ride an ER

Sounds like it was well indicated then, and should be less problematic than if you had a fusion.

Pinky, Hong Kong, Barry back in,Barry farm animals, have all been running jokes for a long time. Just about everyone has participated.
Noones trying to run him off. That’s just horseshit. Barry’s one of the few that regularly gives and takes.
The problem is not the joke, it’s the forum Kancer once again stirring .... up. PMing newbies and creating false narratives to slander me and Im sure whoever else he doesn’t nt agree with.
I had wondered why Theo had a go at me out of the blue. Now I know.
Everytime I try to step away and ignore the forum Kancer, he always finds a way to talk .... and get everything stirred up again

Maybe it’s the Delaudid taking - but I’m wondering if you and I actually talked together on the phone we could interact in a human way and put an end to this. I’m serious. How about it?

I abandoned speculation over what you ride years ago Barry.

I remember loads of kids getting ER 50s at school, you're right Baz, gutless things. I miss my DT175.

Haha i would have placed a DT in the same bin as the ER. The one you provided is a 185.

That was my IT era .... well thats as close to road legal as it got back then. All other bikes were open class rwo strokes about that era. Loved that little IT though it would go anywhere.

Ha found an old image .... went everywhere on the back wheel.

You guys will get your rocks off too over that .... it was on a farm .... with your favourite fantasy .... animals. Which sadly you havent realised is a teenyboy thing to get giggly about

Suzuki FZ50 for the win

$_86.JPG

My first bike (aged 11). Tuned the hell out of with the skimmed barrel, opened transfer ports and a wide bore carb amongst other things. Speedo went to 40 I think, and it easily went above that. Eventually the kick start shaft broke and couldn't find a replacement so had to scrap it.

Winning ???
Uhhh no.
Have you mistaken this place for MopedGP.com

You’ve got it wrong. Barry technique lands him in the ER, not on the ER

Not far wrong there. Except Im too stupid to go straight away. I usually wait about a month and see if its better. like im gunna do with my elbow/forearm after yesterdays ebike misunderstanding. Lol.

Last time I gave out my phone number it was used to threaten my kid and my former business. That’s not happening again.
You and I are two different people that will never relate to each other. I prefer that we just leave each other alone like we have in the past.

...While you were sliding round corners with mind control and body position alone? Oh dear - it's been disabled. It's ok, we believe you.

A 185? I had no idea such a thing existed. Yeah, I can't explain it but the ER was oddly very popular.

I loved my DT - a great first bike...and actually, I concur...I learnt to ride off road and bought the thing from a farmer, well his son to be precise. Seriously, brilliant bike. Was actually a bored out 125.

Dude - that kind .... just ain’t me. I’m dead serious about trying to make peace. Think about it. I’m really tired of all the animosity. It’s so ....... easy to dehumanise people on a website and much easier to get a real sense of people really are when there’s a personal connection. Jum and Rog hated each other until they met in person. It’s stupid that you and I keep bringing out the worst in each other. I really would like to change that dynamic.

I have Jum’s address and phone number and have never used them to cause harm. Not my style.

.

Mind control ?

Body position alone?

Is that what you are telling youself what I said now. :D:D

Wrong.

On the ER

We got them in 125, 185 and 250 here. No 50. A few years before we used to get a TS400 which was the precursor for the TSxxxER which became known as an ER.

The upspec bike to get was the PE .... Suzukis competitor for the IT. Twice the power of the DT. Lighteŕ. Proper suspension. The IT was the same capacity as the DT and they looked vaguely similar. But I dont think they shared any parts.

Absolutely, as I mentioned recently on the Suzuki thread, I had one too - a PE175z...another great bike, used to take it to a place called the desert in Derbyshire - a disused quarry. And actually you're absolutely right, it was indeed way better than the DT. Proper fully fledged pure enduro machine derived from the RMs. Looked exactly like this....

Did you have one Barry? You really struggled to keep the front end down and the power band was really peaky as recall. Had the full floater suspension and handled beautifully although unlike the DT, as a thoroughbred dirt bike derivative, it really had no place on the road.

The previous owner, a friend of mine, dropped it off for servicing and was driving through town later that day and pulled up next to an identical one, which was odd because you didn't see that many...only it wasn't. Someone had pushed it out from the back of the dealers and craftily hotwired it. He leapt out of his car and the geezer dropped it and legged off into a housing estate.

A mate borrowed it on an extended loan and was trying to teach his girlfriend to ride on some local parkland. Not an ideal machine for such an endeavour. She flipped it so violently that she landed on her head.

You could always become a Zebedee ;)

PEs were good. Never owned one but had one on loan for about 6 months.
Because the PE and IT were out there I used to wonder why they bothered with DTs and TSs but yes .... your girlfriend example was why lol.

Your classic enduro guys are topping the retro class at the A4DE which is being run as we type. On day two the A4DE loop finished in the bush immediately behind the school at which I was teaching. Drone of 4 strokes all arfternoon as they rode back to parc past the school. But a few ITs and PEs went by ... still have such a distinctive sound I could pick them.

Some pics of the event IT and PE are there

Used to have a DT250. Dropped a 400 engine in it. Became the death trap 400.
Weapon bike. Absolute crock suspension and brakes. But was fast.

Sold it many moons ago.
