Go ahead Sammy and get it off your chest. I'm not falling into the trap of endlessly refuting all your ridiculous hyperbolic falsehoods and straw man arguments. If I do it just begets more of the same. The more reasonable I am - the more heated and nutty your posts get. And if I take the time to reply to all your craziness - you and JKD will lambast me for taking up too much space on the thread. So accuse me of anything you want. Go for it.

Classic, I see, going for the old tactic of lumping others into our exchange to garner support, JKD has said nothing to you, you're trying to bait him, drag him into this flame war that you've carried on with synn and Albert Tatlock for which I've called you out on. You’re up to the same old .... tricks. You're exposed for the not so slick conman. You sound like a politician cornered by your disinformation and lies, the other side is fake news right? You spend the better part of the off-season bullying and attacking people that don't fit Kancer's nanny tendency, remember your "gang of four", then five, then six, and it kept growing. You’ve always done that Kancer, labeling culprits to forum dysfunction when it has been you all along being the version of a Russian troll bot, sowing discord. Even that laughable thread you created to nanny people into some ........ pledge, a notion of forum etiquette that you've .... on your entire existence on this space, attacking people who have treated you with kindness. Take a second look at your ........ pledge thread, once your were roundly mocked you tried to save face by claiming it was you trolling the trolls all along. There are things worse than bigotry, you’re the embodiment of a pathetic individual.

Your anger management councilor is calling. He says you can have a complete refund if you just don't tell anybody you went there.

what went wrong with zarco? overcooked tyre or fuel saving? was thrilled to see him do so well and the fuel saving card hasn't been used since 09-ish , so..... can i blame that?
zarco ftw

One things for sure, you'll never get BarryMachine to meet up. He has a rammed 24/7 schedule and supposedly the only time he's free each year is about 30 mins Christmas morning after he's finished opening his presents and backing his imaginary Ducati in.

I don't know how he gets time to take a dump, let alone post on here.

Oh you paint such a good picture of me.

Im just plain lazy you know lol.

Actually can I drive to the station? I cant remember when I last caught a train. I wouldnt know how to buy a ticket these days.

If you mean 250s say 250s, just saying... :D

You will have to excuse this old git, my mind isn't as sharp now, its called retirement and a few days a month doing charity work, where the questions are so often repeated I answer in autopilot mode. :D

I'm going to ask again, what were your thoughts on the Qatar race and in particular, Rossi finishing third.

You can dedicate walls of text to this crap but can't even comment on the race.

I don't totally agree there. While few can argue that Marquez has been the 'dominant' rider since 2013, I wouldn't call it tedious except for the first half of 2014 where it got to the point where it was pretty much a given he was going to win each weekend.

The only other rider to have won 4 titles in his first 5 yrs in Rossi, and if you compare their seasons from 2001 and 2013 onwards (I'm neglecting Rossi's debut season because he was on a satellite bike as a rookie and didn't win the championship, Marquez on the factory Honda did)

In 2001, Rossi won 11 races and finished over 100 points clear of 2nd place.
In 2013, Marquez won 6 races and won the title by 4 points

In 2002, a season I consider a farce in many respects. Rossi won 11 races on hugely dominant bike and extended his lead over 2nd place to 140 points. In 2014 however, Marquez won 13 races and only finished 67 points clear of 2nd place. That indicated a much tighter field.

While Marquez wasn't even a title contender in his 3rd season (2015)

2003 vs 2016 showed Rossi won by his narrowest margin yet (80 points) while Marquez won by 49 points.

2004 Vs 2017 shows 47 Vs 37 points.

In Rossi's first 4 titles, his average winning margin was 93.25 points. For Marquez's first 4 it is 39.25. Interestingly, Marquez scored the exact same number of points in 2016 and 2017.

Another point is the title only went to the wire once in Rossi's prime, where he lost out to Nicky. Since Marquez joined, the title has gone to the wire 3 times, 2 of them involving him and he has won both.
Valentino and MM also followed a similar pattern in the other classes, a learning year then winning the title. As an astute former poster, one of the many I miss, said a decade or so ago that Nastro Azzurro Honda was a non-factory Burgess bike. It was also a 500 2- stroke though, so Rossi finishing 2nd on it was very creditable, and he quite possibly would have won if Honda had backed him over their official number 1 rider in Alex Criville from the get-go, and would hence have also been in the select group who have won premier class titles as a rookie.

In 2013 after looking like he as going to crash out of the title in every race to his competitors and most others, it was MM who stayed on his bike/remained uninjured, a pattern he has mostly followed since except in 2015, while Lorenzo, who looked a good thing for the title up until the Assen race, broke his clavicle twice.

Maybe we should all try and meet up in our relative regions (at a central train station perhaps?) and discuss our differences.

I often find that the very real possibility of getting the living .... kicked out of you tends to make people a little more civil on their discourse with each other.

Then, when we have regional champions, we can then send them all to a neutral country (Switzerland...) for one big, final battle royal!

Then, maybe, we can stop the schoolgirl squabbling...

I can meet up at Kings Cross this weekend if anyone is interested?

Kings Cross!!

Surely you mean Dingo QLD? We only have about 13 members .... remember lol.

Not that we needs any more proof, but today’s field of riders is deeper than ever and the bikes are by far closer in performance than anytime in the sports history. Winning in a cake walk is hard to do these days with equal bikes and spec tires compared to dominate bikes and Saturday Night Specials.

Does anyone know the way to Club Shov?
I'm lost in Canada and everyone speaks Mexican

Points all well taken. I was of course referring to the his rookie season only. As to whether it was tedious - that's just my subjective take. It just felt like he steam-rollered the whole season. Maybe I'm overly empathetic but I thought I sensed a general feeling of demoralization in the paddock. I mean the kid was scary.

It sounds like you are getting 13-14 mixed up. Thirteen was his a Rookie season where he won the title with 6 wins after JLo got hurt. He followed up in 14 winnng first 10 races of the year and 13 overall .
