Could you guys tell me whose reincarnation I am supposed to be?
I’d like to read up because I’m a history buff.

To those regular members that engage Kancer, the above post is a reminder of who you're dealing with, as if it hasn't been abundantly clear to you over the years; after every flame war he has started, online or worse... in real life, this is the type of person you're engaging, a vial delusional person in real life as he is online.

Some of you have formulated that because it's online, you're insulated from the negativity of Kancer, it's a rationalization. Others have rationalized, because Kancer's flame war is against those you don't agree with on trivial subjects, that cheering him or in the same way, standing by silently doesn’t involve you, it does. Others have rationalized, that because Kancer is enemies with people you dislike, therefore he must be a friend, that's not only illogical, but it will suck you down to his level. This is yet another flame war sown by the Troll Farmer, absent I may add, from the supposed members that he has deemed culprits to the disfunction of this forum, alas here another of many threads destroyed.

If you live in a glass house don't throw rocks.

I thought you and Keshav agreed not to quote or otherwise interact here in order to bring a level of chill to the forum. So now you're jumping in and keeping your word by throwing petrol on the fire. How does that work? Say what you will but he's clearly a man of his word. BTW it's People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

“That’s cute. Roger is replying to his own posts.”

Nat Geo VoiceOver guy: “one of the most shocking side effects of malnutrition is extreme paranoia.

Can’t wait for Sanjeev to finish his buffalo yoga class and continue to not address me by quoting every post I made.

Oh golly!

Until his recent trip down memory lane, where he attempted to impress us with his track day exploits, I thought he was a young kid trying to throw his .... around.
It obvious you've been taking the piss out of him and he's the only one that can't figure it out.
He's so desperate to contain his compulsions, that he started a thread asking for help, and then continues to give in to them.LOL.

I'm still surprised at the level of animosity found in a Moto GP forum. Who gets that worked up over a motorcycle race? This is supposed to be a fun sport.

Anyway, I didn't come here looking to fight, I came here to spread the good word of Cal,:D and discuss racing.

It’s all good, brother. I take the piss out of Cal at times too but I like him. He’s a straight shooter. I actually cheered like crazy when he won his first race.

btw good ride from Syharin.

I was in Bali during the last part of the 2014 season, the guys are ADDICT to the sport, it was amazing to be there and see the frenzy.

Would fancy a talented asian racer that could challenge for the win as I was a fan of the late Norifumi Abe and must say that the japanese have paid a high price when it come to drama in motogp circus.

i admit I haven't follow enough Daijiro Kato to have an opinion but obviously the tragic destiny does cause sympathy/empathy

i always liked Shinya Nakano and like any kids from the 80's i was deeply impressed by anime/manga "Akira" and the crazy moto rides in the city

Black Rain with Michael Douglas too

It's just a rule of thumb that on any forum on the interweb - there will be a small handful of Muppets. Over the years I've got on well with most everybody. Plenty of folks from this forum with whom I've never had any real friction. Just a few that come to mind: Evo9, Barbedwire Biker, Gaz, Geonerd, Mick D, J4rno, P4P, Curve, Austin, #22, Birdman Budoist, Little Walter, One David, Babelfish, Rising Sun, Arribiata, MichaelM, Barry Machine, Pidgeon, Bikergirl, Dazza, Frosty58, Teomoica, Marjike, Skidmark, Somedamwriter, Traverser, Topcat, Dr. Costa, Kropotkin, Mr Shupe, Baldylocks, R-46, Goatboy etc etc.. and too many others to remember. So don't lay that ........ gaslighting narrative about me being unsocial.

You might ask yourself what sets apart from Synn and his ilk?

They - aren't a bunch of .....

i knew the actor in your avatar reminded me of a movie : natural born killers from Oliver Stone, he plays the abusive father of Juliette Lewis

I have friends on the internet! I counted them all! You see guys, I am not a complete loser! Seriously!

That is either the funniest or the saddest thing I have seen on the internet today.
I still can’t decide which one it is.

I'm laughing so hard I'm crying, so I guess both.
This is like that uncomfortable movie where Joaquin Phoenix falls in love with his operating system.
Hey Keshav, how many of those "friends" do you know what their real name is?

When Alberto Puig went off to run the Asian Cup, I had hopes he would bring back some Asian talent. With him being gone, I also felt Cal had an opportunity to take over Pedrosa's seat on the Repsol Bike.
Now that he's back, I fear both of those opportunities may be lost

But they paid Jorge to win so anything short is a failure. Especially when his teammate is contending on the same bike. Short of a miracle JLo is on his way out at the end of the year. Repsol team set. Yamaha team set. He is proper ...... for taking the money two years ago. Jorge Lorenzo 2019 world superbike runner-up has a nice ring to it.

I am not as big a fan of Jorge’s as I once was post Valencia 2017, but the parallels with Rossi’s Ducati adventure continue, except for the current Ducati being a better bike.

Leaving aside the question of whether Yamaha semi - deliberately shafted Ben Spies, just as Rossi was still better than others touted for the second Yamaha factory seat in 2013, as has been said Jorge would still be a good choice for Suzuki and most others, better than Dani imo, although he would obviously command a drastically reduced salary.

I wouldn’t write him off this year after 1 race in which he had a mechanical DNF either, although I guess it is possible Ducati themselves already have after Valencia 2017.

I wouldn't either Mike. At times last year he seemed to find command of the bike, albeit short lived. I can't recall any recent Ducati rider, including Rossi, that at times showed promise. So far Jorge has shown that he can ride just as fast or faster than Dovi, who, lets not forget, is running at the top. The problem for Jorge is not necessarily finding the speed, but finding a way to maintain it without crashing

I agree with the top bit but what would you deem not a failure for him at Ducati? They aren't paying him to just beat Dovi, they are paying him to win a championship. Anything short is a failure. Especially when we know the bike is better than in the past.

Sure, he is not winning the championship this year imo as well, what was expected of him given his current salary as you say, but I don’t think he will necessarily be an abject failure this year either.

Hard to know who has contributed what in terms of the Ducati’s improvement either, obviously Gigi deserves much credit, but Jorge may have contributed as well, not that Ducati will continue to pay him an 8 figure salary for bike development skills alone.
