I think you missed TP's point.

BTW, you have mentioned this now several times. So Rossi has many facebook followers, wow, how uncommon is that--an international star has facebook followers?
<

Jumkie, look at facebook and twitter, two most popular social networks in the world. You can not deny that this must be a good statistics, or you are an ancient man.

Season is off TP70, we are all relax with a 9th Title and waiting for when it really counts… as in points! If we do mention numbers it becomes: “Always Rossi!”, if we lay back it is now “Sorry for Rossi”? No way bro, check this out:

Also said in India (New York Times to back it up).

I suppose it all revolves around WHY these 'statistics' are so important to you.

You say Rossi has 'good' stats, but what do you mean?
Yes, I'm sure he has millions of followers on Twitter, FB, and everywhere else.

So what?!

Are you trying to imply that a person's inherent value, however you may choose to measure it, is in some way reflected in the number of hero worshipers he attracts? That's a fine philosophy for 15 year old kids who read "Big Bopper" every week, but most (not all!) adults will recognize that there is more to life than winning an internet popularity contest.

try standing up next time you read posts on this forum. that way, the humour, subtle or otherwise, will hit you in the face instead of flying straight over your head...

be hard to reply to me in this thread, seeing as it was my first comment! try reading before typing and dont let your "fingures" do the talking. if thats beyond your capabilities then i suggest you cheer up and grow a sense of humour

I don't know that you Geonerd "the adult" will live how many more years, but I am sure that the statistics lives forever.

Rossi doesnt need FB or Twitter statistics to be popular, he has massive facebook fans because HE IS POPULAR.

Got the point?

On serious note BIgAI, i can't see any humour in Geonerd post. I have copied his post below, read it again and care to explain which humourous part i have missed in that post.

Usually it’s: “Hasta la Vista, Baby!” for the off Season (TP70 got carried away with it) then: “I’ll be back!” and by the looks, Rossi’ll be back for some years still, great news for us boppers. So if I kept on quoting Terminator; “If you want to live, come with us!”

Note: I guess you can see I just got “The Salvation”, and got out and saw all the sequel over (The third one is the crappy one!).

Anyway, TP70, Geonerd and BigAl avoid mentioning anything around the news of “Rossi Staying on Two Wheels for Now” and for the next years:

http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2010/Rossi+S...+Wheels+For+Now

Which I thought relevant to the thread and to TP70’s comment about Rossi not getting support (What a bad joke). I guess we’ll be back (as in masses) when action starts and not just the media trying to make MotoGP relevant in the off Season. Happy New Year hermano!

Boy... if there was ever a sentence that distilled the cultural black hole of human values
that is FB - yours is it. The vacuity jackpot.

Thanks.

TP70's post was clearly tongue in cheek. Nghiemlong, as near as I can tell reading his responses to TP70 and Jumkie, didn't (get it.)
