I know it's late but I just watched the replay this morning, unfortunately, i had to go to work halfway through...but still, congrats to webber!

i think its to do with it been run on public roads and the f1 scene taking the whole weekend up



so they run thursday so the public get some time in to sight see shop etc on friday stopping f1 having fri sat sun to themselves
 
My money's on Button this week end.....which means he'll probably come second.



Historically doesn't the winner of the Monaco GP usually win the championship?

Me neither, but I think I can remember, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button both winning there and getting the championship and I'm sure I can remember a commentator going on about it. I'll have to pay attention this week end to see if they say anything about it.

But I could always be talking a load of rubbish!

I SO miss the 'old days,' back when cars looked good, and you could tell them apart by the noise they made. It's sad that racing a computer sim - driving antique cars - is FAR more interesting than watching modern Eff Wun.

Watched FP2.  I've got to admit that seeing the cars fly around Moncao is a treat.  Kubica is a joy to watch!
 
Kubica is a top class driver, I doubt the Renault is that much better than last year but look at him go. He could win today.

No word on Rubens' steering wheel throwing incident.



Schumi gets a 20-sec penalty for his last=lap pass on Alonso, though. Bugger. Thought it was legal, myself. Ah, well.
