Hi guys, please could you give me any advice about the MotoGP race this summer (2015). I'm surprising my bf with tickets to the race day and iv never been there before although he has. Don't want to ask him too much as I don't want to give away the surprise. First of all, I'm travelling from London. Would it be better to travel by train and then bus from Euston to Milton Keynes or am I better of getting on the mega bus (which is longer but takes you directly there). I'm going for the day, Would love to hear your experiences and what you'd recommend as this experience is very new to me. Hopefully will be a brilliant day :D:acute::1a::1a::1a: thank you

My suggestion if possible is to go for all 3 days.

Riders for health event on Thursday is a great event, cheap and will include paddock access.
Your bf will love you.

Riders for Health - Day of Champions
Thank you for the advice! Won't be able to make it for the 3 days as we both are working and can't take it off except on Saturday! However will look into going on Thursday!

I'd go by bike, having gone by train once and car once, bike is the only option :)

I've not been to Silverstone but hear it's a good distance from the train station! From past experience of other circuits getting to and from public transport to the race is a .....! So get the bus if it takes you all the way there and back. Then all you have to do is worry about finding the bus on the way home, not how much the cab is gonna cost or how many miles you'll have to walk!

Hi there! Thank you for the advice! You're right, I think it might be a mission to go by train then cab/taxi. Good thing is megabus will take me straight there and back for a good price! Will take 3 hours in total but i guess its the best way. Will be my first time so very much looking forward to it! :)
