First 800cc Footage

Hey Tornado welcome, we've seen that before but good to see it again now that the season's all wound up. That 800 Honda sounds EXACTLY like a RC45

welcome to the site mate. i hadn't seen that footage ,thanks for sharing.
i think all of us motogp fans are really looking forward to the new 800cc season.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I've heard from rider interviews that the 800's very much ride like the old 500's, which In my eyes, will make for great racing! What does everyone think about the RC212V's 'tail piece', I think it looks great!

they've got a .... load of footage on the GP official site.. just been watching Crashy on the duke.. hmmm not like Troy!! the RCV212V is the nicest looking bike, on track it looks so ....... sweet!!

the 800cc times are interesing.

one thing is clear - if they can turn in times like that at this stage of the bikes development they'll be faster than the 990's by the end of the season.

roll on next year !

Yeah next year will be great no doubt, and they will be as fast by the end of the year, I'm really looking forward too seeing a young gun on a duke though, could be interesting after seeing Bayliss, Sete and Capirossi on them for all these years.

kind of makes a nonsense of the 'reducing capacity to increase safety' argument

all they've done is cost Honda, Yam, Duke & the rest millions of $$ trying to develop new bikes.

that said - i think it's good for the sport.

I heard that too, but I also read today that Leon Haslam is going to offered a ride with them.

Must be Pitty then, In this weeks MCN Haslam has confirmed he is staying with BSB, along with Greg and Kio.

You must have a different edition of MCN than me then!! It reported that although Leon had to turn down a test ride with Ilmor because of his contract with Airwaves he is likely to be offered a ride with them for 2007. Leaving Leon a difficult decision and a £250,000 buy out fee if he leaves Airwaves. Personally I don't think he will and you can't always believe everything you read in MCN anyway

oh man i wanted Sete on the Ilmor .... but if it was Pitty it would just make my day.

dan im using ur account again to watch those vids .... sowy

EDIT: welcome tornado!

Looks like it will be Pitty or Jezza on the Ilmor. Pitty's riding it, but Jezza apparently got the offer.

What happend to McCoy?

As for the 800's, the one that really looks any diff is the Honda...The exhaust looks awsome, rear is ok, but the tire hugger makes Barbra Streisand look hot.

Man, i have no idea what happened to Mccoy ... i thought he was signed to Ilmor but apparently not. ....

Ilmor is gonna be a 2 person team ... so Jezza, Pitty or Mccoy, whaddya reckon anyone?
