FINALLY CONFIRMED! Yamaha will welcome valentiono rossi officially tomorrow morning

The Honda has never really been a POS, FYI they also won the world title in 2006-post Rossi-and it wasn't because of Casey as he came 8th that year on the Honda. The Honda has also always won races during the season, with both factory efforts usually on or near the podium. The Ducati has been successful for 'ONE' rider, only during 'ONE' season-when tires were made for them, drawing a parallel here is madness influenced by Rossi bashing (which is probably an Olympic sport by now

)

Once again, in Motogp, Ducati's DNA is not race winning bikes at all....ONE title in ten years does not support this statement at all. Politics hasn't killed Motogp, regulations and rider aids have, mainly due to Honda

You should be a spin doctor. The Ducati won more races in the 800cc era than Honda & won races every year since 2005.

It also won races on control tyres. Next excuse please

And there it is, the exact type of 'motorcycle fan' that argues the toss with all the true racing fans on here because in reality they are just a rossi bopper and to them MotoGP is MotoVR. All you care about is Rossi being on the podium or winning, even if all the political odds get stacked in his favour for him to do it. I tell you what, how about all the other riders have to ride CRT's and Rossi gets a works M1? .... racing but I bet you'd be jerking off just because Rossi is winning. Its people like you who have helped make the sport the shitfest it is.

If Rossi was truly the GOAT, he could do better on a worse bike like the present Ducati than he is doing. But in fact all he is is a quitter, not willing to work and stick things out but rather to jump ship and take the easy route. I don't totally blame him, but now he surely can't be seen as the god you boppers proclaim him to be.

LAME...

Me neither man....

How so? but why just 2005? lets go back properly then.

On control rubber the Honda won 3 races in 2009 with two riders and scored 9 podiums, the Ducati won 4 with 4 podiums-with 'one' rider......

in 2010 the Honda won 4 races and scored 12 podiums with two riders, the Ducati got 3 wins and 6 podiums with 'one' rider.

Dani Pedrosa also beat Ducati's 'one' rider in the title race in both of these years, and Honda's other factory rider absolutely flogged Ducati's other effort both years.........

in 2007, with reg changes and bespoke rubber, Ducati and Stoner won the title by a massive 367 points to Dani's 242. The following season 2008, Ducati and Stoner lost the title to Rossi who had acquired Bridgestones, 373 to Stoners 280-a total loss of 218 points from one season to the next. And at Honda in 2008 Dani finished 3rd and Nicky 6th, whilst at Ducati-whilst still having bespoke rubber, Stoner finished 2nd and Melandri 17th.

Nicky then subsequently went from 6th place in 2008 to 13th place in 2009 when going from Honda to Ducati. Rossi went from winning on the Yamaha and a 3rd place finish in the standings in 2010 despite missing 4 rounds and riding several on crutches, to 7th place the following year on the Ducati.

Since Ducati re-entered Motogp Honda have won 4 titles, and Ducati 1. Honda 58 wins to Ducati's 29, and I couldn't be bothered with podiums here but I'm sure you know that Honda will have spanked them. Suffice to say that the Honda cannot be labelled a POS and has been a very capable machine in many sets of hands, the Ducati has not.

2 years with little up dates.. The entire 2012 season to date and theyre still running the exactly same bike from Qatar.

They have had two chassis updates - in May and June- a new engine for Rossi to test in May, new electronics and if they haven't yet implemented the new injection system, it isn't far away.

The point you are missing conveniently is the Ducati has won races every year except the last two. Regardless of them having tyres made for them as you put it.

Coincidence?

This should get you boppers fired up.

The odd thing about this is I am feeling Stoner is opening a door for a future ride with Duc. again. ???

Also .... for Talpa .... I just watched PI 2010 again ......... Rossi did not try at all on the Ducati ......... thats been its biggest problem.

Well, the sublime sarcasm of the intellectual juggernaut of two wheeled racing of course. Like duh, are you stoopid?

Is that what schoolyard ....... do, when at a loss for a real rejoinder !!?? cos thats what his remark seems like.
