Definitely a photoshop job - you can see Vale's head looks a lot bigger than Lorenzo's. Hang on a sec, I actually think his head is bigger!Carmelo and co. are already using the signing to promote the rivalry between Lorenzo and Rossi. I wonder is this is an old picture

It was inevitable that he went to Yam,its a sensible move........what gets me is the ........ that flowed about seeing the job thru from Rossi earlier in the year.Good luck Vale BUT i think you`ve lost respect in spadefuls.Not the first,won`t be the last.

I know after speaking with my group of friends, who are a mix of people liking Ducati, and those who could care less, all said they lost major respect for Vale. It took Honda how long to get the chassis correct, over 40. Vale can't wait, or whatever the excuse. Well, I hope Hayden and Dovi kicks everyone's ... next year.
Dovi to ducati ?? well he has not done much really on the big bikes 'i am glad it is him going and not Cal i know people say Tech 3 is not going to win but ducati is a heap at the moment .Anyway so glad Rossi is back on a yam sooner he is back on the podium the better

Ahhh, wasn't the Honda a big POS for a number of years? They didn't win any championship after Rossi left in the 990cc. They only won the last 800cc championship due to Stoner. Say what you will, Ducati just like every other team that has come back to win it after having a .... bike will once again be at the top. It may not be with either Dovi or Hayden, but it will happen. Their DNA is race winning bikes, and that isn't about to change. Now I could see Ducati saying screw GP cause for the most part it isn't anything special anymore. And for those who think just cause Rossi has the "chance" to win again it is going to be different, it won't be. Politics killed GP. It isn't healing it either. Thanks Carmelo Ezpashithole for backdoor dealing Rossi to Yamaha again for "the Show". LOL. I can't wait to hear Spies and Stoner when all the dust settles.
The Honda has never really been a POS, FYI they also won the world title in 2006-post Rossi-and it wasn't because of Casey as he came 8th that year on the Honda. The Honda has also always won races during the season, with both factory efforts usually on or near the podium. The Ducati has been successful for 'ONE' rider, only during 'ONE' season-when tires were made for them, drawing a parallel here is madness influenced by Rossi bashing (which is probably an Olympic sport by now
Once again, in Motogp, Ducati's DNA is not race winning bikes at all....ONE title in ten years does not support this statement at all. Politics hasn't killed Motogp, regulations and rider aids have, mainly due to Honda

I have lost a bit for respect for Rossi for giving up on the Ducati...
He is still a great rider, and probably the greatest (#s rider of all time), and he might even equal or better Ago's number of wins.....but his stature as a great development rider has gone away, and he is tainted in my opinion (as a big fan).....
Now with Nicky being the #1 ducati rider, lets see what he can do....
Can he podium consistently on the bike he now develops? can he win at all? can he win the title?
Or will it simply be one more year of fanboys blaming god the universe and everything for Nicky's results....?
We shall see....

And there it is, the exact type of 'motorcycle fan' that argues the toss with all the true racing fans on here because in reality they are just a rossi bopper and to them MotoGP is MotoVR. All you care about is Rossi being on the podium or winning, even if all the political odds get stacked in his favour for him to do it. I tell you what, how about all the other riders have to ride CRT's and Rossi gets a works M1? .... racing but I bet you'd be jerking off just because Rossi is winning. Its people like you who have helped make the sport the shitfest it is.
If Rossi was truly the GOAT, he could do better on a worse bike like the present Ducati than he is doing. But in fact all he is is a quitter, not willing to work and stick things out but rather to jump ship and take the easy route. I don't totally blame him, but now he surely can't be seen as the god you boppers proclaim him to be.

You all make me laugh. Why the .... would Rossi stick it out with Ducati waiting for them to fix issues he and Burgess have been telling them about the last 18 months? It's clear by Preziosi reaching out to Furusawa that he has absolutely no clue how to the fix the bike and Rossi and Burgess obviously know this. Rossi is 33 years of age so of course he is going to want to spend his last two years on a competitive bike, everyone in his situation would have done the same.

Rossi vs CRT would be perfect for MotoVR. He's a clever chap, we would not run off 20 secs into the distance but race like he did against Barros on a 500cc in 2002, Holland. I watched it again yesterday and actually found it amusing to see Rossi racing back and forth, showing a wheel here and there then suddenly boom, actually more like sonic boom when he finally opens the throttle on the mighty V5 and blasts past like Barros is standing still.
Dont you find it beautiful to watch? The racecraft was sublime, God like in execution. Dont say contrived, Talpa is lurking.
