Watched Fastest today in the Cinema...

It was absolutely brilliant! I think better than Faster and the Doctor, Tornado Kentucky Kid by some way. It was pretty long, but it covered plenty of stuff so i think they'd have have struggled to make it shorter.

No doubt Rossi was the main character, but i think rightly so and it was very well done.

Anyone else seen it or plan to see it?

I went to see it today only for Vue Cinema to fail - they couldn't manage to get it to play and cancelled the showing.

I'll probably never get to see it now unless I buy the DVD whenever it's out.

I get to see it at phillip island in 3 weeks time. They are playing it on the open air cinema on Saturday night. .... yeah!

Yes it's being shown Tuesday when I'm at the biggest derby in football Brighton v Crystal Palace. I guess it'll never make Finland

I haven't checked itunes yet but I did get the rest of the series there, I hope they get this one too.

Might bump into you @ PI Digger... The missus & I will be there for that for sure :)

Going to see it tomorrow night, only being shown twice in Glasgow....disapointing but atleast it is actually getting shown on the big screen!

That's amazing that they would show this movie in a mainstream theater (I'm assuming it was mainstream, right?) We don;t even get B Hollywood movies in theaters. So that would be pretty cool to see on a big screen with other enthusiast. However....

Not sure why they don't just dispel with the pseudo-sport movie classification and just call it a VR documentary. We already get Rossi shoved down our throats in the media and race coverage, now we gotta sit down and watch a movie about him too.

Told the wife I was going to take her out for a romantic night at the cinema.....Haven't told her what we are going to see yet.

So it "faster" a bit of a Rossifest? Cos that will seem pretty "wacko" given what we now know since he has gone to Ducati

Weesht Barry!

Went to see it lastnight, as Tom said it does focus a lot on Rossi but at the same time it doesnt blow smoke up his arse. You get quite a lot of chat from Jorge and a bit from Casey, regarding Rossi and the way he races. I thought it was really good, as did my dad. The interviews with Colin and Simo were brilliant.

I went and saw it last night

I was blown away, it was amazing and it is most definitely better then Faster and it made me want to see every MotoGP race on the big screen. Its just a pity that it wasn't on for more then two showings in the UK. It is a must buy when it comes out on DVD.

Anyone see a schedule of North American screenings? If so, please post a link.

It hasn't surfaced on two of the 'racing sites' of which I'm a member. Suspect it will before too long. Heck, even a blurry in-theater video camera rip would be better than nothing...

In the meantime, I'll rationalize my loss by muttering, "Feh, I didn't want to see it anyway! It's just another Bopper Wankfest."

I seriously doubt it bro. The only place they play stuff like this on a "big screen" is at the GP activities. Like at Laguna when Red Bull hosted a screening of the Kentucky Kid...etc.
