Only two weeks till the next round.

From last year:

1. Valentino Rossi (M)
2. Dani Pedrosa (M)
3. Casey Stoner (B )
4. Hayden Nicky (M)
5. Marco Melandri (B )
6. John Hopkins (B )
7. Carlos Checa (M)
8. Toni Elias (B )
9. Loris Capirossi (B )
10. Colin Edwards (M)

It appears to be a tyre neutral track, so basing my guesses on previous results.

1. Pedrosa
2. Rossi
3. Stoner

That's a hell of a long time from now. Sheesh, Jerez was not even run a day old, and the predictions for the next race is already up.

1. Rossi
2. Hayden
3. Lorenzo

Pole: I know it won't be Stoner. He can't get out of row 3 this season in qualifying.

Rossi will take the points lead at Estoril as I see Ducati and Dani-Bot struggling.

I think Estoril is going to be gritty.

I think Stoner, Rossi, Hayden, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, and Toseland all have a shot at the podium. I think once again the two factory Yamahas, the two factory Hondas, and 1 Ducati are the only bikes with a shot at the win. No offense to Toseland, I simply question Poncharal's ability to get good enough technicians to set up Toseland's bike as good or better than the Fiats.

I think Estoril is a Michelin track but both Rossi and Stoner have proved they can keep pace at tracks where Michelin is strong. Hayden shouldn't blow his rear tyre riding with traction control all the way off this year and he's finally getting the full 08 package, so I anticipate he will ride well. I want to put him on pole for next round but how can you bet against Lorenzo at this point?

Stranger things have happened than:

1. Rossi
2. Pedrosa
3. Stoner

Damn, we already doing predictions...

Here is a lock for Estoril, Portugal:

1. Rossi..if Hayden doesn't win
2. Stoner
3. Lorenzo

You heard it here first.

1. Rossi
2. pedrosa
3. hayden
4. lorenzo

stoner DNF's because the pressure got to him,,the cracks are showing.

Pedrosa was strong here last year and so was Michelin. Rossi won it but I don't know if he can on the bridgstones. Hayden is working well with the New 08 bike and he will be strong all year. But he could use the help of some ponies here at Estoril. Lorenzo doesn't go well at Estoril but he has the right bike and tires to do well. Dovi does well at this track. If he can quailify well and not blow 3 places on the last turn he should come good. Toseland is a wild card. I really don't know what to expect of him yet, but he will have the new engine, so we'll see. Nobody else really matters to me in the championship at this point.

Pedrosa
Rossi
Hayden
Stoner
Dovizioso
Lorenzo
Toseland

ATM

I'm already updating my predictions to:

Stoner
Pedrosa
Lorenzo ...... Maybe Rossi

Stoner now in front cos I just remembered the clutch thing last year.

But if Toseland has the new engine this may be totally wrong.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pinky @ Mar 31 2008, 10:06 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>colin for another crash.

Colin rarely crashes. How many times have you ever seen Colin crash in a race. Another retarted post Pinkster.

As much as I hate to do this

1. Rossi - The M1's top speed and his quick adaptation to bridgestones will help Rossi squeak this one out
2. Pedrosa - Looking very strong after Jerez, 800cc and this track will suit the munchkin well.
3. Stoner - there is a long straight, last year Stoner was in it without even having engine braking??
4. Hayden - Him and Hohenzo battle hard, in the end experience take over?
5. Lorenzo - My arms won't move, or else I would have won
6. Dovi - Gets back on track mentaly and puts in a very consistent showing. Damn those middle of the pack fights.
7. Capi - I love the middle of the pack fights
8. Toseland - I do too, watch out or I will slap you. Wheres my new bike?
9. Hopkins - I hate the middle of the pack fights, can't you see my groin is on fire, no not the muscle, I picked something up down in Florida.
10. Colins - Huh there was a race? - I was just cruising.
11. Vermy - Damn I wished it rained
12. De Angelis - I wish I had a closer view of Toseland's ....
13. Melandri - Hey I am learning the bike, please be patient.
14. Elias - Hey...I, I, I, don't know
15. Guinter - Hey, nobody knows who I am...
16. Nakano - Damn I should be trying harder.

West quits
De Punt crashes.

Hell its anybodies race this year. Whoever can get out front wins

Sack, you crack me up man.

Mine top 6:

1. Valentino "when its been a long time since a win, its like having ... for the first time" Rossi
2. Danny "yes I am happy dammit!" Pedrosa
3. Nicky "a leather helmet and goggles will make me fast" Hayden
4. Casey "something must have been wrong with the setup" Stoner
4. Loris "top of the middle pack" Capirossi
5. Jorge "I forgot my golden gear, so I finished bad" Lorenzo

And yes the "De" brothers (De Puniet, De Angelis) will be surfing the gravel traps again.

Weather forecasts say that it may rain on Friday and Saturday, then sunshine could come back on Sunday. Wet free practice and qualis could make the starting grid completely unpredictable - they might eventually race on the dry, but with hurried setups.

So... A lottery!
But Rossi and Stoner should be at the front whatever comes.
Pedrosa might find himself busy fighting Hayden.
Dovi could arrive in front of Lorenzo at Estoril.
If it is a wet race, watch out for the Suzukis...

I believe what you meant to say was watch out for De Puniet, he just might be the guy to come flying into your line in the first corner.

But seriously, Vermy and Loris will do well in the wet. I am also curious how well Dovi will run in the wet on a GP bike.
