Just returned from Assen,Holland after watching the motoGP and as the race is on tonight at 8pm I wont spoil it and reveal any details , only to say it is well worth watching.
Apparently there were 97,000 people there and I reckon 70,000 motorbikes were there. I just could not believe how many there were. The locals line the roads for hours after and wave and cheer.
If you havnt been to one, I recommend you do. Fantastic spectacle.

Cool, we are going to Silverstone for British Moto Gp :) cant wait , excited now!!!

Okay, enjoy. I am a little envious but 6 of us are already planning our next MotoGP to Le Mans next May

Donington...oh wait.

Well Catalunya's already ran as I'm sure you know. Valencia and Sachsenring, - both a short flight away afford great viewing - but you've only got a week and a half to plan Germany. If you can wait until next year - remortgage the house and get to Mugello.

Alternatively, book a flight to San Francisco and get to Laguna, climb the hill to 'Jumkie's rock' and watch Rea and Sykes clean up in WSB - lovely part of the planet and if you're really lucky you may even get to meet the Cali Kid in person!

Already planning our next trip....Le Mans next May
6 of us so far on our bikes for 3 days. Cant beat it !!!

Rancagua Chile anyone? I need a native Spanish speaker, a seasoned motorcycle racing aficionado preferably with first hand experience of South America and a penchant for large quantities of British Naval Rum.

I hear that staying home and watching it on tv is the only way to see all the track.
