The Indian economy is currently a little more mature than the Chinese economy although the gap is closing. Tata is already making major inroads in the automotive industry, Hero wants to follow in the bike industry.



It is indeed "the changing of the guard"... economic power is moving east.

Been reading that myself earlier today and if it comes off it will be interesting to see if or how this affects Rossi and the MotoGP race team who (correct me if I am wrong) have sponsorship from AMG, a competitor to Audi.



Could be interesting as one would expect Audi to flex muscles.

Yep, it was mentioned in the article. I also wonder how it will affect Ducati's racing program all around. Supposedly Ducati makes bikes so they can go race, same as Ferrari supposedly makes cars so they can go race. That is not the philosophy of Audi, or Germans in general. They are not passionate about racing like the Italians are. Dont get me wrong, when they enter a class, they enter to win, but they seem more business first. race second

Don't Ducati and Ferrari share a close relationship between the 2 companies? If Audi buys Ducati, it will be under the same parent company that owns Lamborghini (obvious competitor to Ferrari). End of association between the 2 companies?

One day a woman went in hospital to have a baby and decided there and then that she would also have cosmetic surgery to her ...... to make it look more youthful. She decided that she needed a little tuck here and a nip there so it would stop looking like a badly packed kebab.

After having her baby, she was immediately taken into the operating room for her horses collar to be worked on.

After coming out of the anaesthetic she saw three roses in a vase at the base of her bed.

"Who sent me the roses?" the woman asked the nurse.

"Well," replied the nurse, "The first rose is from the surgeon, just to say thanks for making the operation go so well."

"Ohhh, that's nice," said the woman, "Who sent the other two then?"

"Well," replied the nurse, "The second rose is from your husband, seeing as you have been so brave."

"Ohhhhh, he's so sweet."said the woman, "But who sent the third rose?"

"Well," replied the nurse, "Thats from Eric in the burns unit. He just wanted to say thanks for the new ears!"
