http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/motogp_new...3&section=1 this sounds suspiciously like yamaha are gonna throw lorenzo, toseland & edwards under the bus to give everything to the golden boy.
<
it'll be a damn shame if they do......

Where, in between the lines did you read that? Seems like the team manager must choose side, probably too involved in technical matters to stay in the middle. For him to step over to Lorenzo wouldn't be a smart move if they are serious about the championship this year.

That said, I have no illusions regarding who's the number one rider. How much that will influence the others depend on how well the team can work together from both sides, and how much capasity they have after supplying Rossi with upgrades. But how that articel pointed out any changed poicy towards Rossi is something I didn't find

the ones were brivio talks of making him happy. at all costs to the other yamaha members it's as it sounds.

and you won't unless you look deep. they ain't gonna come out & say it point blank!

I think this PR fluff is related to the manufacturers championship. All Brivio is doing is giving the media something to focus on. Brivio is finally in the same situation as Honda, two different sets of tires for the same make. I'm sure he wants Lorenzo on the top step every time the Bridgestones are weak, and he wants Rossi on the top step every time the B-stones are strong.

The only person who is down the creek without a paddle is Edwards. He will be the mule, like he has been in the last few seasons. He's only quick when they need him to be. For instance, when he was protecting Rossi's backside at Estoril, or when he was fighting for the win at Assen when Rossi was hurt.

Anyone notice how Colin's season fell to pieces after Rossi's tire fell apart in Turkey. He will be tire testing all season.

My thoughts exactly

Excuse my ignorance if i'm wrong, but isn't Brivio team manager for Rossi and Daniele Romagnoli manager for Lorenzo now?
If so, seems like everyone has thier own now anyway..

Again, somebody correct me if I'm misunderstanding the situation here..

I'm pretty sure he's Yamaha's Team Director. He's like Suppo at Ducati or Tanaka at Honda.

Brivio oversees the entire factory team, and he also monitors Tech 3 now that they are supposed to be given factory support. I'm sure Poncharal will continue to run Tech 3.

Daniele Romagnoli might be Lorenzo's manager but his relationship to Brivio would be similar to Puig's relationship to Tanaka. Brivio is the boss, unless Daniele Romagnoli is also Lorenzo's crew chief, he is just another extraneous stooge.

I think that Brivio's statements need to be viewed in light of the following (quoted from article)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Managing one side of the partitioned Fiat Yamaha garage
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>I am now concentrated solely on following just one rider, Valentino

Given that, I'd be horrified if Brivio (as opposed to Yamaha) was not behind Rossi at all costs.
<

wow brivio said about 3-4 weeks ago that he would work close with rossi, so he dam should because he should not forget who put yamaha in the #1 spot in the first place.........
rossi said in december i think, he wanted to work closer and have better communication in the garage.

i have big hopes for lorenzo not sure about his attitude but i think he will be very quick in motogp straight off, he will be racing up with the front runners.

One of many reasons why Rossi-colored glasses make you see everything rosy.

And sometimes people read what isn't there at all, something that seems to happen a lot around here.
