You must be a real pissed off person then

I don't cheer for the rivals but I do a loud "ohhhh noooo!" when they crash as the rivalries are the most exciting stuff.

On the other hand I just can't cheer against Rossi. He deserves everything he gets and is a class act all the way.
You and I are in the same boat with this. I just wish we could get Vale on a Ducati so when he wins the WC all of Italy will be in a state of extacy!!!

Then you must be torturing yourself as it happens rarely. do you like SM too ??

I try to remain fair to the rivals of my favorites, but sometimes it doesn't work that way, or i can't help it.

for exampel when riders talk bs. even if thats Rossi, but i try to forget it asap, exept if that rider is always talking bs.

i wasn't glad when Stoner went off track at Laguna Seca and brought that very exiting race to an end.

Then I enjoyed it when he crashed at the next race in San Marino after he had said:we'll see to Rossi in LS. but i wasn't happy when he crashed in Berno, because the championship was almost over.So it

depends on the situation. In last weekend when Lorenzo crashed i had 2 feelings one happy that he couldn't overtake Casey and again Vale and Casey came on the top of the championship table, and the other one that we were rubbed of a good fight for the 3th podium place.

But fortunatly unlike F1 i dont dislike or hate anyone in Motogp.

my favorites are: 1.Rossi 2.Stoner 3.Lorenzo 4.Pedrosa 5.Dovisiozo 6.Capirossi 7.Melandry and my list gets longer and longer.

QUOTE (roger-m @ May 3 2009, 07:13 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
i bet most stoner fanboys did ! i think we all new it was only a matter of time before he passed stoner.

Maybe the morons did. I admire Stoner for what he's accomplished - but
when Lorenzo crashed I was shocked. There was something about Lorenzo
when he was in 250s that rubbed me the wrong way - so I can't say I liked
him very much - but I still felt for the guy when he crashed. He may be a
bit goofy and childish - but he's talented and dedicated and I thought it was
a shame that he crashed in front of his home crowd.

I never could stand Biaggi. He's a pissy little man wearing an insipid looking
goatee to try and make himself look manly. He's vain and insecure - but I
wouldn't ever go so far as to cheer his crashing.

I was a mid-pack club racer in the 70-80's and I know how much blood sweat and
tears are involved in being even a weekend warrior in AMA-CCS series so
I generally cheer for any rider who outperforms the expectations of others.

I guess that narrows down who you cheer for to ZERO.

The only Rider I really hate is Pedrosa and ill cheer for Canepa before i do for him other than that i really dont care I like Edwards but that doesnt stop me from liking Toseland even though they hate each.other. I also dislike stupidity like crashing into unsuspecting riders like takahashi . Now a days it doesnt really matter you only have 4 riders wining races so take your pick

Are we seeing a pattern here? Is it that you only like riders from Asia?
Is that a fair assessment?

Hardly

Huge respect for all riders, just a big fan of Haga ever since i started watching SBK about 10 years ago.
So there where times i didn't cheer for Edwards, Toseland and sometimes even Bayliss
<
, but normally i do cheer for these guys, especially when they are in Motogp. Especially Edwards who really seems somewhat of an underdog among all the hyped American riders.
