Yes Celtic is far from a factory operation but he is riding Bostroms
factory R6 from last year.
I'm not trying to take anything away from Chaz because he's a great rider that adapts to new tracks quickly.
I watched him at Daytona. Noone knew who he was but everyone was pulling for him.
If it wasn't for a 19 second pit compared to the factories 13 second pits he would have been on the box at an extremely difficult track he had never rode before.

If he stays in AMA he will probabaly be on a factory next year.
I'm being a little selfish here but I would rather Pramac not give him that ride so he could be factory here. I would love to see him compete with the top AMA guys.

Least he doesn't need another rider to hold his hand during a test or to talk him up, if Chaz is good enough, he'll make it, what's with the hand outs? Not cool.. Bloody poms, cant do anything without us Aussies givin u a leg up..

BTW antfan, did you bid on West's kidney when it was for sale.............bet you rushed straight down to teh bank for a loan for that one, I mean imagine having a westy body part on your bedside table to kiss good night.
 
Are u a moron? Westy didn't donate his kidney, u dipstick.. it was two of his fans.. They put their kidneys on sale (for people in need, with illnesses) and were going to give the money they raised to Ant, so he could gain some funding for a factory ride in 250s.. Did it happen? No.. Did it gain Ant some publicity? Yes... Check your facts before u shoot off at the mouth..

Also, Ant said he wanted nothing to do with them and that he appreciated the support but didnt need people to go to those extremes.. Some people are just fanatics when it comes to REAL talent i guess..

Chaz was a crappy privateer, nothing more.. Ant used one of Chaz's bikes in 2006 (for team Kiefer) that Chaz had used in 2005 and put any results Davies' had achieved to shame.. If CD gets a ride because he tells Stoner 'how good he is' in his spare time, theres something wrong..

Would you be saying that if it was two fans of Toseland, or any other UK rider for that matter? I think not.
 
I think word of mouth is a very common way for riders to get attention, i think its brilliant that someone as high profile as Stoner thinks Chaz is worthy. We know he is talented and we've seen a glimpse of it at Laguna, now he can test to see if he is really ready for motogp.

i dont think he will do any worse than westy in gp,
funny how a while ago checa was branded old and past it yet west could not get past him at misano even tho he is on the kwak thats supposed to be as good as the duc he even lost a place to elias who is ridding with a busted leg,
i think davies will be able to hold his own.
, just give him a chance to learn.
 
He did 1'51 and Ducati was pleased with the result.

It appears they have offered him a test rider contract with the factory team to replace Itoh and he may even get some wild cards.
