KTM will need to do a miracle to turn a 1 man team into a champion, KTM has only one bike to test and get testing data, compare that to the army of works Hondas and Aprilias.

But if it rains ... West should be fighting for the win, he's a specialist.
 
Don't forget to add Luthi and Kallio to the mix, rumor has it they will both get 250 rides in 2006.

Well I suppose I better write something serious about Danni without any piss takes.

After giving things a bit thought, I think the best way we can judge Danni's progress next year is by measuring his perfomances against Melandri's performances this year. Surely he has to be one the if not the hero of the year, 1st year in the top class and has been challenging for wins and has showen he is able to run with Rossi. He really does have a good shot at 2nd in the championship, quite a superb year really.

Now really Danni's 250 record out shines Melandri's, so really he should at least be able to match Marco's record this year, its going to be interesting to watch and thats how I'm going to judge Danny boy next year.
 
This is Melandri's 3rd year in MotoGP (I think) he's got much more experience than Dani will have next year, I guess it would be fair to compare him to what Hayden did in his first year since both debuted in the same team.
2003 Hayden 130 pts, 5th position overall.

Let's see if Dani can beat that.

I dont know Teo! I think Melandri has the best potential to become a (the next?) motoGP champ from all of the current racers (excluding you know who!) He got the bike, the experiance & the balls................the complete package.

Sete,well he could soon be named the next Kocinski if he don`t sort his head out-maybe he should cut off that mullet and get some fresh air to his brain-we expect better from him!!

Pedrosa may be something special. He hasn't won many races in the past three or four rounds but reports have it that he has been riding with a fractured arm/wrist.
