I think we should get away from all the .... throwing about his celebrations, his apparent 'snub' of Spies and everything else.



He won the title after he won a lot of races, and was by far the best rider in 2010.

Congrats to Jorge for making the MotoGP storyline more interesting. MotoGP will have 4 champions on the grid next season (Hayden, Stoner, Rossi, Lorenzo). That probably hasn't happened since the 80s. If Pedrosa wins next year it will be 5 champs on the grid. Not that I want that to happen, but that's motorsports drama at its finest.
 
Absolutely agreed congrats Jorge!



He learned his lessons from crashing last year, when he was thinking of even retiring, settled down nicely and took his time.



He earned it, so hats off to him and his team.
 
All I want to know is ........... how did Mario and Luigi beat Jorge back to parc ferme!!?

Congratulations Jorge. You are truly deserved champion. 7 wins, 13 podiums, and 2 fourth places in 15 races. Well done!

Congratulations to Lorenzo for a text book championship winning season, its been brilliant seeing how quickly he's developed from 2003 until now, he's never taken a step back.
 
Congrats to Lorenzo and his team.



I think this goes some way in proving that "the wall" or running each ride as a separate team is a winning formula. It lets each team do their thing without interference from the other side.

Congratulations horegay - as you say "you are the best rider on the whole planet" - baaarrrfff

"Game Over" may be a little premature - especially for fans and sponsors who expect the season to finish

Take the off season and try working on your personality - there you are certainly not a king

I wish to see all the 4 champions plus Dani (potential champion) racing next year with full health fighting for 1st place. This would make the sport more interesting because for the past few years I see there were many potential competitors but when it comes to display only one of them does it good and the others simply giving it up due to one or more reasons.

he was absolutly unbeatable this year .

in my opinion lorenzos performance this year HAS to be ranked among the greatest seasons for a rider ever.nothing short of doohans and rossis greatest seasons



to me it's official : if lorenzo keeps on performing like this he will go down as one of the all time greats and i'm glad gp racing has brought us another legend in the making
