Also this excerpt was from the end of his column, where he was basically talking about Spies and his congratulations etc.. so the not saying "Here, come and take my ride" comment, I take as being in reference to the rumors at Ben's ascension through Tech3..
With results (other than Motegi) like Colin's getting lately, If I was Poncharal, I don't think I'd have any trouble agreeing with him.
