IMHO Vale will take it , he's got nothing to lose & Nicky has, nerves will come into play, no doubt & not having won a world championship before will tip the scales in Vale's favour. Rossi by 6 points

If Nicky can leave Portugal as the championship leader I am confident he can win the championship at Valencia
I would love to see the points tied at coming into valancia then it would be a can hayden beat rossi thing more exciting plus we can see if he is truly world champion material.. if I had to bet it all no question I would put it on Rossi unless theres a crash or bike problems

I hope Rossi will win the title, but I wouldn't mind if Hayden would win it. I actually like Hayden. I think he's a very good driver and this year he showed us he's very consistent as well, especially during the first part of the season. That's where he gained the lead he has over Rossi, but Rossi fought back and the gap is only 12 points now. I personally think Rossi did a better job this season. First of all he won more GP's than Nicky. There were times people thought it was over for Vale, but he proved those people wrong. Anything can happen now. Secondly, Nicky was more lucky than Rossi for sure, BUT obviously that doesn't take away the fact he drove very well this season. So, I think they both deserve it, but imo Rossi deserves it a little bit more.

i would like to c nicky still lead the championship and c him duke it out w/ vale. whatever, whoever, whenever. DAMN! this has been a great season, as a fan atleast.

I want Hayden to win, he has been consistant, and it's not only about the driver, it's also about the team, Honda has been more consistant, not only with repsol, but al year long, I hate when the team puts there efort on just 1 guy and the rest get shoved over.
Any way, Nicky all the way, yeah, rossi is the coolest, he is the best, but in a personal level, and it's all about the team (i think), honda deserves it more !!!

DUDES, Thats like saying all asian people look alike
but back to buisness, looks, or likability don't win the championships, and i was thinking and analizing (even thou i don't have my facts straight) Hayden started to loose ground on the Asian tracks, but now that there back to the European one's he'll be strong again.
I'm not saying Stronger than Rossi, but atleast strong enough to maintain some points of the 12 point lead, besides i think that the other teams are stronger at the end, and they will take the wins (say ducatti, fortuna honda) a thus reducing the advantige rossi can take on hayden

He does not have that much experience on Estoril, he has said so himself. He is still setting a fast time though! Leading the 2nd session and all!
