Burgess worried for Rossi’s rivals

If you take a look back you'll see that u r wrong.

Rossi left Michelin for a number of reasons, first of all because Bridgestone had a better tire, and in retrun he won the title on "Stoners" tires.
I don't consider that a miracle but a show case from that team and first og all Burgess and Rossi who made the bike competetive with the bridgestone tires.

I'm sorry, I'll continue saying whatever you want me to say.

Apparently, there is a book of facts somewhere? Do you have a copy?

Theories are fun and interesting and if you've taken any logic or debate classes you will see the "giant leaps" I take to state opinion as fact are actually proven, uncomplicated logic disciplines that I type publicly for fun.

They aren't any less fact than the facts that spawned them. My opinions (besides some of the conspiracy) are akin to mathematical derivatives. Not all mathematical derivatives are appropriate used either, but I have yet to hear someone refer to an improperly used derivative as an opinion.

Logic as in 42, or better, the more local scandinavian "trail of evidence": Nille is a stone?

I'd like to know where the original quote is from.

The recent issue of Bike had an interview with Burgess where he went on the record stating that the "battles" with Gibernau, Biaggi, et al, basically weren't. His contention is that Vale was/is so good that most of the time he was toying with all comers simply for the show. Apparently, PI '03 was an example of how devastating and boring the racing would be if Rossi ran 100% all the time.

Now before you start frothing at the mouth, remember... THIS IS WHAT BURGESS SAID, NOT ME. GO LOOK AT THE LATEST ISSUE OF BIKE TO SEE THE ORIGINAL COPY.

If you have access to the latest issue of Bike (I think it's a UK mag), there's a 1 page piece.

I've paraphrased the interview, but if anyone has access to the text (too lazy to even see if it's online), you can see if I've missed the mark or not. I was kinda surprised at the candor where usually everybody is PC in the press. I read it again and I'm pretty sure that's the gist of what he was saying.

Anybody else see the article/interview?

(Note I could be wrong about the mag, I was reading a bunch at the bookstore a couple days ago, but I'm pretty sure it was Bike)

I didn't say that.

That's the whole point! When you present highly contentious points as undisputed facts, you are cheating yourself and you are cheating your audience. When you do this, you undermine the credibility of your arguments.

So when you state, in a matter of fact manner, that Rossi simply and only left Michelin because he couldn't use Dani's tyres, you are being blatantly disingenuous. I think you should hold yourself to a higher standard.

Sure, you can say: For X or Y reason(which is supported by Z evidence), I believe it is reasonably to conclude that Rossi left Michelin for Bridgestone because he couldn't use Dani's tyres.

RCV, Lex is an acquired taste, like caviar or the deep fried collection of insects and rodents they sell at my local night market. You know what you're getting with Lex, don't think of it as tiring, savour the taste of a unique flavour!!

I'll ask you to state that as your own personal opinion.
