with motogp, some rumours has it he could be pedaling around italy selling .... ?i have nothing against this guy, he is a racer after all,but Kawasaki who looked to have him set up on a third bike, now look like to be pulling the plug too !he may have camels backing, but if you have riden a factory Honda all season, and finished where he did, this was going to happen ?

Today we are supposed to get an announcement from Max Biaggi telling is what his future is. My computer is constantly going through all the websites searching for any news, as always as soon as I find out I'll put it on here.

Unless Kawasaki can pull a one-off deal with Michelin then he prob won't ride unless Bridgestone accomodate him. I doubt that could happen though because the Kwaks are contracted to Bridgestone.

So that means the options are
D'Antín Ducati (not likely, Rolfo and Cardoso will probably get those rides, but D'Antín is a poor team, so maybe Camel's €€€ can change things).

Proton KR, considering they use Honda engines, this is not very likely.

WCM, I´m sure they´ll be happy to take Biaggi (and Camel's millions) but will Max stand that low???

SBK is another option, and there's retirement...

D'Antin Ducati I would say would be his next best option.

How low would he go (no disrespect to d'antin, im just comparing to other bikes) to go on year old bikes with Dunlop rubber that are not factory supported and don't have competitive rubber??

I don't think Camel would spend their money there. I think they want something at least halfway competitive and so does Biaggi.

KR is out of the question since they will be powered by Hondas.

WSBK would be nice for him, no Japanese companies want to touch him though, and then what team would he go to? Maybe Ducati can pull something for him?

Or he could go back to where he started with Aprilia but this time he would be riding their Supermotard bikes. (Supermoto for us Yanks).

So far looks like Biaggi is out and Camel goes back to Pons with Checa and Stoner.

I hope Max gets a ride..................I'm not a major fan, but hes a solid rider & a character in gp's. I was just saying to someone yesterday that how weird is it to see someone who was second in the champs at the mid-way point, fighting for a job next season! Hes a solid rider & still has quite a large fan base...............just needs to work on his diplomacy regarding his bikes!

As for Barros - never like the dude I'm afraid, he's very up and down.............................time to move the dead wood for the youngsters to come though?

Max certainly is a character but I'm not sure there is room for him in MotoGP anymore. I know Kawasaki want to make room for him but if not for them he would be mulling WSB or retirement. I hate to say it because Max is the guy I love to hate, but he is in the same boat as Barros. Time to move on to make room for the up and coming talents in 250s, 125s and SBKs around the world.

nice to see he still has a change in the motogp, he would be missed if he would have stopped. just like ben said, he's quite a character and a solid rider

yes max is deffinatly a character, but from his past results, over the past few seasons, and the bikes he has had,i am petty sure if any one was to take max on it would be for his sponsorship cash, which by now is probably running pretty low, looking back at the statement Rossi made, that he had spent too long in the 250cc class, are now becoming wise words?his age, his results, are all stacked up against him i am affraid, but i still would like to see him stick around in some shape or form,so we will have to wait and see.
looks like you have got the photoshop off to a tee ben ?

Thats what i think. he is/was one of the best, so keep him around, just give the better bikes to the younger guys!

Max MotoGP = Wasted Space

Really don't see what Camel see in him, he's an arrogant sod, just look what guys have said about him on here when they have met him, hardly a sponors dream. He must have huge pulling power somewhere. Or he's shagging the CEO of Camel.

I've read rumors that he is going to announce and sign with Kawi this weekend still. Apparently bridgestone are now supplying him with rubber for 2006. prolly cost camel all 12 mil in backing.

I too have just read that Max has lucked out on getting Michelins so he is badgering Bridgestone again-you have to admire him for determination, its just a pity he didn`t apply that on the circuits in the latter part of the season.
