What the ....... ....?

Oh boy, here we go............this thread is gonna leave a mark.

You're new here, you won't make this mistake again.

Go ahead Jumks, you're up!

What the ....... ....?

My initial response almost exactly! 86 views but few responses, I think we're all exhausted from what the last few weeks has delivered here.

This post would represent "Exhibit A" in the Bopper trial of the century if there was such a thing but sadly, this moment may actually pass with little recognition. What a crime. Internet Gold like this comes along far too sparingly....

Viper-7 I think the picture is fantastic and well done for the post, ignore all the hate you get here and go elsewhere where civil people exist.

This forum is for people who are up their own ..... (sry to the few that are not), who couldn't lap a motorbike quicker than a BMX and are annoyed with their own ability.

You will find them people posting below.............

Viper, this means war!! I hope you realize you're not getting a Christmas card from me!

Seriously though, don't worry about negative reactions, I don't think you'll get many. Threats may sometimes turn into 40-page heated debates intersected with senseless .... slinging, but that's usually only when people start making very biased arguments of questionable substance. Posting a picture you particularly like does not really fall in that category.

Yes you are absolutely right. This forum is really exclusively for us ....... and losers. You really will be happier

if you stick to posting on Crashnet or ILOVEROSSI.com where all the well informed genius types go to share

all their knowledge and experience. Really - why waste your precious time on a forum full of ignorant geeks?

You're much too smart for all of us. We just don't deserve to have people of your caliber here on the forum.

We're just so unworthy. I'm just so full of shame.

Its old news, but this picture brought a tear to my eye.

The Doctor shares a private moment with his bike of 7 years as they part ways, once again showcasing the beautiful bond between man and machine.

(please don't start any Rossi vs Stoner discussions, please just appreciate the picture).

You won't find too many friends here with this thread Viper, sorry to say that PS has a large population of members with rather tainted views on Rossi.

The VR/Yamaha partnership does bring back a lot of great memories in the sport as is what I'm sure you meant by starting the thread, and this picture bookends the Welkom moment, and indeed the era, rather well.

Like it or not, its impossible to deny if your a fan of Motorcycle racing. (though a lot do!!)

From the incredible 2004-2005 seasons to the turbulent but excellent 2006, to the upheaval in 2007 and the successes of 08-09.

It is rather ironic, fortuitous, yet bound to happen at the same time, that the bike that brought him the greatest accolades of his career also brought him the worst accident (in motogp competition) and injury of his career in 2010.

His transition to the Duck has been far less successful currently as many predicted (including myself) last season. At this stage VR will be remembered mostly for his time with Yamaha.........

(hint; if you 'really' want to make friends here- post a picture of Rossi crashing or Stoner smoking the rear at PI next time

Let me try, this is how it is going....

Take off your yellow glasses man, back when I first started watching motogp 95 years ago, guys didnt sit with their bikes. they couldnt, because they were all equal and the bikes would get jealous if one bike was getting more attention than another one. Ahhh, they were the days, when there was no such thing as a fan, everyone appriciated the racing for what it was. Stoner is the best, what u mean u like this Rossi bloke? You must like little boys then? Didnt you know that he is cheating by sitting in front of the bike like that. Maybe he should be punished for being on the grass next to the track.. blah blah ....... blah.

I get it man, its a good picture. End of an era. He's recreating what happend in south africa in 2004 (like his shirt says). Good find mate.

Talps to the rescue! Good on yah. He's going to need lots of encouragement if the mob gets a hold of this
<
I still only give him a week or two at most. While your lust for Rossi is certainly well documented, you regularly contribute and I would venture to say that all and all, you're a significant part of the forum narrative. Additionally, Jumks needs a nemesis, you're perfect in that role! I can't fathom that you'd introduce yourself with such a post. It's a bit over the top no? "Tears?" "Beautiful?" C'mon, even you'd agree that those are fairly dramatic word choices...

All aboard the rainbow warrior with Captain Talpa at the helm.

Sorry guys, i havnt been posting like my usual self for two days. I know, but dont worry, its not terminal. Thanx for the heads up on this beautiful thread Levi. Actually, im with Viper, this thread is making my eyes water too....with laughter.

Dont take it to heart Viper. Its all in good fun. I like ur range of emotion, from the affection u feel for a man having a moment with a lump of metal to the rage against a certain BBC announcers.

give the guy a break, clearly he is passionate about the guy he supports just like people with art or music.... if he has an emotional connetion with the picture then thats just the way he is.

there have been moments i have felt emotional about a race or something's rossi has done and not just rossi, some drives from senna to... whats the big deal???

there is nothing un-manly about being emotional about something.
