i agree, used to be a good paper but now its nothing more than a biker tabloid. such a shame. pitty they have no real competition.

I quite like RoadRacerX. Yes as an American mag it is quite US focussed with a fair bit of AMA coverage but it is the closest thing to a proper glossy motorracing magazine. To get a UK based version which focusses more on MotoGP, WSBK and the European racing classes I would probably buy.

I ain't messing with your heads, I promise. The article says that Dorna are worried that die hard fans will not watch it on the BBC, so it's best to leave this coverage for the casual viewer and allow Eurosport to cater for the die hard fans. It also says that although other European conutries now have deals in pace to screen Motogp on terrestrial TV, Eurosport still have a contract to screen it also, meaning it could be a possibility here too. Bad thing is though, that Setanta and Sky are looking to buy the rights off Eurosport here, meaning that, we the die hard fans will have to pay for good coverage after all.

I guess you haven't heard the awesome duo of commentating team....Ralph Shaheen and Kevin Schwantz. Tell your friend Jumkie to send you a copy of the Indianapolis race and listen to them commentate, and then come back here. You will learn to appreciate the better commentators out there.

it'll be the same pack of BBC pricks as this year and every other year i rekon.

i'd sooner watch highlights on eurosport than watch it live on BBC

Randy however gets on my ....

i can't even bring myself to buy it any more. nothing but sensationalist bollocks.

Dear god, no. I'd rather watch it live (or at least "repeated", ie downloaded) with the sound turned off if I hate the commentators that much, than watch "highlights" on any channel.

To watch "highlights" is not the same as watching the whole race - if you can't tune the commentators out then you're not really enjoying the racing.

I'd like to hear Julian Ryder and Keith Huewen again.

I seem to remember them working together in the late 90's or early 00's, and they were just as good as the Ryder/Moody combo.

Sadly I can't see the BBC changing the lineup they've got now.
