Perhaps they are all waiting to see who you sign for Jum. If they can't get you, they may have to sign up Hopper instead

Post race Livio Suppo was saying it's way too early to comment about a possible replacement for Sic. When the interviewer asked about the internet rumours that have iannone testing this week Suppo said never believe what you read on internet. When do PR people ever really tell the truth though? meh...

Suzuki will still be there next season (according to Bautista) and he said he's still trying to make a choice between the Honda and staying put. Don't know which Honda though.

Iannone posted on his FB profile today that he will decide in the next hours about his move to motogp or staying in moto2...I'm guessing it's Gresini

I like Iannone but I think he could use another year in Moto2

I love Crazy Joe and he could probably do with another year in MOTO2. But as the events of the past couple of weeks have shown us, you never know what life throws at you. Grasp every opportunity and live every moment. You might not get it next year.

Go Iannone !

Of course and you make a valid point. Plus Kropo had an article explaining why Marques should go to MotoGP next year instead of staying in Moto2.

Some of the reasons were, everyone else will be learning to ride 1000's again, and by staying in Moto2, it could ingrain some bad habits while riding a less powerful bike.

It also looks likely (although there is still no official confirmation) that Randy De Puniet will return to the LCR Honda of Lucio Cecchinello, after a difficult season on the Pramac Ducati."

I'll drink to that!

so if there are two suzukis bautista and hopkins will ride those, that leaves de puniet, bradl and barbera for the ride at lcr?

i think honda should give lcr two machines,if gresini really go with ianonne that surely means 2 CRT bikes.

i'm sure somehow we will still see at least 12 prototypes in 2012

Barbera has already signed for Pramac. I believe the options at LCR are Bautista (if Suzuki don't come back), de Puniet, Bradl, and Hopkins. My guess is de Puniet goes back.

My understanding is that Honda will only be producing four RC213Vs next season. Repsol gets two, LCR will get one, and Gresini will get the other. There has been some speculation as to whether or not the factory 213 that was destined for Simoncelli could move over to LCR if Iannone does join Gresini.

Surely all the bikes will be "factory" spec at the first race. The concept is gone as it's the first iteration of the "1000cc" and all 4 bikes will start equal.

If Iannone does come over from Moto2 then the rules, as I understand them, are that he cannot take a seat with a factory team, not whether his bike is allowed to be close (the 2 factory bikes will get the updates first) to the factory spec. I think he could take the bike with the development stratgey planned for Simoncelli and still be within the rookie rules.

You're correct with both of your points. In theory, all the bikes should be the same at Qatar and Iannone would be legal on a factory spec 213 in the Gresini team, just as Simoncelli was.

Officially now confirmed Bautista @ Gresini

So RdP may have to take his Kawasaki WSBK lifeline, not that I`m fussed, but I would like to see him on any bike/series next year.
