got a link for that statement, haven't been round the net yet this morning.

On that statement, I'll just commnet that Edwards of all people should know that being a Rossi teammate is like a being deaf mute, you can speak as loudly as you want, no one is listening. You can see in most Ducati press releases that it's Val this or Val that, or we need to make Val happy, then a brief two line comment about Nick, somethink like and we need to work better for Nicky too.

I think Nicky did take over some development last year on the pig known as the GP10 and started getting results, so much so that Stoner somewhat followed Nicky's setup and started winning. This year he has no input and I think its obvious by his times getting slower.

This could be debated for days, doesn't matter, this is just Edwards being Edwards and you have to take anything he says with a grain of salt.

+1 and they are getting Nicky the bike for Laguna where he goes well, not to mention by then they'll have it more sorted. Nicky is going to benefit from being on a team with Rossi.

it was in the press conference... i sure it'll be reported... maybe maybe not. and edwards may of finnally got himself into trouble for comparing himself to a .... victim.. depends on peoples spin on things.... it could be viewed as funny or distastefull.

DAMM the rest of the FP2 cancelled....
 
All remaining sessions are canceled today due to oil on the track. Moto 2 rider crashed but rejoined and shortly after the engine went pop and dumped oil on the track for a good distance. With the track wet from the rain, the oil spread over a much larger area.

Pinks, I'm gonna go against my own self imposed ban on replying to you. You had a few decent takes in recent months and I thought you had turned a new leaf. I was even thinking you had grown up a bit and less mature members had take the space of 'worst members of the forum.' I'm surely not one to pontificate, as I have my own flaws as a member, but calling for any rider to get hurt is unacceptable. I'm not sure what value there is in telling you this, as your statement seems to indicate you may have no concept of what is over the line, but perhaps there is a hint of decency still left in you and you will retract your statement. Or say it was a very bad joke.

"Joker" was the protagonist in the movie, not the villain. Anyway FMJ, the best movie ever created.

Spot on. The comment comes from the pre-race conf. Nicky mentions he would have to wait for the updates to which Edwards quipped, "welcome to being Rossi's teammate".



For me the funny part of the conference was Nicky "accidentally" calling the GP11.1.46 the "GP12".

so one person saying i hope a rider crashes is fine? i hope not, selective reading me thinks. i am glad you are appauled by it was to highlight the ridiculous post i was responding to.

yes that is great a person can say what he thinks. i find it amusing one person can say something like "being ....." or "hes a whore" and no one cares. yet when stoner says something serious like "hayden needs to have more development input" people start a 20 page thread about it. or when stoner says "pedrosa will have a hard time coming back from injuries" is something that is derogratory.



rossi fans are really cut that there hero may not be the best rider no more they have to resort to these petty things. and all for what? is rossi really going to give u a pat on the back?

I see what you are saying Pinks. I suppose I see a distinction in you using the words "I hope" this happens as oppose to a prediction of what might happen. By saying "I hope" Rossi gets hurt seemed a bit much. Thanks for the clarification?

Yeah, that line was from the same scene. I could quote you about 3 pages just off the top of my head.



This one reminds me of my buddy Chopperman, no, not because he's a ..., but because he looks like Private Pyle. "I don't like the name Lawrence! Only ....... and sailors are named Lawrence! From now on you're Gomer Pyle!" All the drill instructor scenes are the best!
